The restaurant offers a nice range of French food, the dishes are abundant and very rich. I would recommend not eating the onion soup though, because it is too strong in flavour and a little watery. The personal is nice and strives to help. I must say, sitting upstairs is not very nice when the restaurant is crowded, as it... More

A local friend recommended that we check this place out for lunch or dinner. We went for the lunch the first time and thought it was so good we couldn't help but go back again for dinner the next day. It was easily some of the best French food we had on our entire trip and we spent over a... More

We have eaten here several times now and always found the food to be tasty and authentically French. The French lady who runs the restaurant is always very friendly and cheerful even when the restaurant is full. We generally book a table but were very grateful to be fitted in on a busy Sunday for a very quick roast lunch.... More

Had lunch here today, which was a Sunday lunch (roast beef etc), not exactly French. Three course, great value, and good service. Would return to experience more French cuisine.

The food is absolutely delicious and very reasonable for a lunch time set menu. I would have given this 5 starts however despite booking 2 weeks in advance we were not on the list and had to be seated next to the door, where it was very noisy and a lot of through traffic. I wouldn't usually have minded but... More

We hadn't booked but managed to gain a table for an early dinner. The menu had good choices at a reasonable price. Good wine, good main. Leave the bread.

I booked lunch here after reading good Trip Advisor reviews. I wasn't disappointed. We had excellent service from the waiter (who was actually French!) and the food was fantastic. The portions weren't big, but extremely tasty. The waiter was genuinely excited about the new Autumn menu and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend this quaint restaurant, far better... More

A warm and cosy small restaurant with good service and delicious food. There were 3 of us, we had a late supper after theatre. The menu is full of dishes, I would like to go back and try. We had the pigeon starter, pumpkin and chestnut risotto, monkfish and steak. We enjoyed it all. It was a lovely dinner.

Immediately on entry it becomes clear that you are going to have a great dining experience. Fabulous, cosy, intimate and informal atmosphere, with perfect table service by experienced, highly motivated and knowledgable staff. We were made to feel very welcome and valued. The wine choice was fabulous and the menu catered for all tastes without being too extensive. The food... More
