Delightful, yummy pizza in a relaxed bar. We popped in on a windy Sunday afternoon and shared one pizza with two pints of ale. Very friendly staff. Would recommend

There were 4 of us celebrating a friend’s birthday Our starter was delicious! 3 out of 4 of us had to send our main course lunch back as it was tepid and the fish was uncooked. We were offered an alternative main course however having...waited for ages for our main course we declined and were offered cheese which we accepted. Then the bill arrived…. We were charged for our offered cheese and bread …. At no time was it suggested if we accepted the offer of cheese instead of delicious fish would we be charged for a cheese course at an exorbitant cost! We paid the bill and left feeling what a disastrous lunch we had experienced I should say our waitress Rose was lovely but it might have been a nice gesture had the manager taken the cost of the cheese off the bill at least. We definitely will not be going back 😩More

Hi there - I think you have reviewed the wrong restaurant. We are a pizza pub in Oxford (www.whiterabbitoxford.co.uk). I am so sorry you had a bad experience but am glad Rose treated you well. If you are ever in Oxford and would like excellent...More

Rude unhelpful disorganised and thank God we were not allowed to eat there without first seeing the kitchens! Brought foreign guests, who were kicked of a table then kicked off bar stools? Had to wander around with our drinks in our hands, ridiculous. British independent...pubs dying? This is a perfect example why!More

Hi Jamie - I am so sorry you had a bad experience. I am confused about how you saw the kitchens as they are on the first floor of the pub in an area not open to the public. I just wanted to check you...More

went in here as we spotted they do gluten free pizza which is a treat as most places don't bother. other than pizzas not much else apart from cheesy sandwiches but all very good.

A good range of beers available across their kegs and cask pumps. I thought the price was reasonable too compared to other places in Oxford.

an employee (clearly drunk) sat down with us, played cards with us and then refused my boyfriend’s ID only because that it was polish and accepted everyone else’s. he then showed an english one and then the employee got aggressive and called the manager. then...we got kicked out because we complained despite us doing nothing employee had a beard and was about 5’10More

Went here on a weekday with my boyfriend and our friend. We all had a beer/cider and shared some veggies and focaccia (would maybe have been nicer if the veg wasn’t fridge-cold but it tasted nice) and then he and I shared a pizza with...a few extras on it, and our vegan friend had a pizza to herself. It wasn’t the quickest service but the food was good. Ours came with ham, mushrooms, artichokes, olives, capers & tomatoes and was really nice. I tried the vegan one and it was delicious too. I’d even consider ordering a vegan one next time! White rabbit is great for students and good value for money.More

I phoned to book a table and check on heating, and was told the White Rabbit was going back to pre-Covid arrangements to just turn up, and the outdoor area was heated. Our bad in that we came for dinner on a really cold evening....The ceiling heaters were only at the far end of the dining area and were swaying wildly in the wind. Our seats had heating pads, but they didn't really work. The service was swift and sympathetic. The pizzas were good, but we were in a race to eat before they got cold. Half way through, they were cold and unpleasant. Getting in and out of the eating area, you had to walk through a smokescreen as the smokers were hogging the doorway area. Overall, it's not tenable for the Rabbit to serve food outdoors in the winter, except perhaps to Inuits.More

We really enjoyed our Pizzas here - they were perfectly cooked and the toppings were extremely tasty. The place was bustling and had a lively atmosphere. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. We were encouraged to order via their app and we did...try, but it is tricky to use if you want to specify likes and dislikes, even though it says you can do this!More

We popped in for a quick drink, I was hoping to come back later to try the pizzas, but time did not allow. We were greeted by a server with one of the nicest smiles I have seen in a long time!! Her greeting meant...I liked the pub already, people sometimes forget just how important a smile is to make people feel welcome. The drink was lovely too, I had a pint of Madrid lager which I hadn't seen before. It was lovely and crisp and went down a treat. We did see some of the pizzas being taken to other tables and they looked amazing. The price is excellent as well. I really hope my son gets offered a place at Oxford, as I will have plenty of chances to revisit. The only thing I will say, is that is a bit off the main drag and would be easy to miss, which would be a real shame in my opinionMore

Another accidental find, this very popular central pub hidden down a passage is a must visit! We managed to easily get in for lunch but bookings for evening were in great demand even mid week. We took over a huge booth for pizza and parlour...games (our own) and it was a massive success. Cute but not cramped, quite different pizza menu, and all delicious. Fab Wonderland theme running through all areas but not over the top. Loved this place!More

This was my first visit to The White Rabbit as I had heard a lot of good things about the venue and they catered for a variety of dietary options. I had pre-booked a take in advance because we were a large group. When I...got there, there were lots of other people sitting in the area where we were booked into (I did not realize that the whole space was meant for us until later). It was a good thing some people in the group did not show up otherwise there was no way we would have all fit. This should be managed better. The atmosphere inside was very loud and noisy from as early as 6:30 pm on a Friday night which was not what I expected/ ideal for conversations. However, on to the food. The Diavola pizza was delicious. I loved the thin pizza base. Highly recommend- the enter group with various dietary requirements were very happy with their pizza. Overall, great food. Not a fan of the atmosphere and was not impressed with the general cleanliness of the inside of the venue.More

The beer garden was lovely and the staff greatly handled how packed the place was. Low prices and good drinks. I can’t wait to try the pizza next time.
