Don't go here if your in a rush. When we arrived there wasn't any tables available so we had to sit in the bar area. Not a problem for us. We ordered coffees and breakfast, full English and egg snd bacon sandwich. Then the epic wait started two coffees took at least 10minutes the breakfast took so long it was... More

Searching for somewhere new for a full English I came across TSK. Great quality well cooked food (apart from some very dry toast) and good service. Not the cheapest in town but only right to pay for quality fayre. Good vibe too.

We went here Sunday lunchtime. I recommend you book as this place gets very busy . I had the sirloin with Yorkshire and root vegetables and goose fst roast potatoes. Tasted really delicious. I have gone to Oxford once a week for the last nine weeks and this is the best meal I have had so far. Only drawback is... More

Turl Street Kitchen's location is optimal. The centre of Oxford, just a couple of minutes walk from Blackwells, one of the best bookshops in the UK. So unsurprisingly it was buzzing at lunchtime - booking a table in advance was definitely a good move. A short seasonal menu, with enough choice even for the gluten-intolerant individual at the table, which... More

A friend of mine and I had lunch at Turl Street Kitchen on Sunday. The (trendy sort of) place was very busy and our name was taken down we headed for the bar while our table was being prepared. There seemed to be a queue, but it was just people waiting there orders filled. Alarm bells rang the first time... More

Enjoyed a family dinner here. Bookings are not taken between 6.30 and 8.00 (I think) so we had booked for 8 but arrived rather earlier and were welcomed and seated without fuss. The menu is relatively short but that means each dish is well thought out and nicely (and freshly) prepared. Service was quick and efficient and the wine list... More

A delicious lunch was had by all with really tasty vegetarian choices, lovely presentation of dishes, and divine warm ginger loaf pudding! Service and atmosphere were warm and friendly too and we paid around £20 per head including soft drinks. It was deservedly busy and conveniently situated between The High and The Broad. Can't wait to come again when next... More

Called in for breakfast this morning and opted for the English breakfast at £9.95 and a cup of tea at £2. When I asked for the bill it came with an optional gratuity of £1.19 so the total was £13.14. Their loss as I would have added £2 to the bill to reward the good service. Adding an optional gratuity... More

Had a wonderful Saturday lunch here before a trip to the Ashmolean museum. Really nice atmosphere, very busy and lots of people were turned away as so busy at 1pm so would advise booking. They had six main courses on the menu, including two veggie and one fish. We all had something different and each plate was delicious, using lots... More

Excellent restaurant . We ate here twice for breakfast as it was included in our Tower House accommodation booking. The full English breakfast was just superb.
