The friends that I was with really enjoyed their steak, which was cooked exactly the way that they wanted it. My pasta was very tasty and the other member of our party thought the fresh fish option. We all thought that the service was excellent particularly our waitress Yana who was professional, efficient and friendly.

It went here with friends for my birthday and it was a lovely sunny evening so the setting couldn't have been better. The outdoor space is really lovely and had a great buzz about it. There were some deck chairs at one side presumably for those just wanting to soak up the atmosphere whilst having a drink taking in the... More

Have visited Oxford and this wonderful Restaurant on various occasions, the last one being this past Thursday August 25th, when we visited twice, both at lunch time and again later for a cream tea. The dining room has a splendid top location in Oxford, and even when busy, one has plenty of private space to relax, eat and drink. You... More

I've eaten in the Ashmolean restaurant a number of times, but this was the first time I've been when the weather was sunny enough to use the outside terrace. There are some very large sunshades, and the receptionist was able to place us at a table in the shade. The restaurant often has menus linked to exhibitions on in the... More

This is the roof top restaurant of the ashmolean museum Menus not that exciting but how often do you sit under a huge umbrella overlooking the wonderful roof tops. This is not about the food but lovely atmosphere On a perfect sunny day it Dosent really matter

We sat on the balcony/outside area for afternoon tea time. The view of Oxford is not that amazing (better to be had from a univarsity pub in the Covered Market). The menu selection was pretty limited and as one of us needed gluten-free there was only one sweet choice. So we opted for Apple Mint drinks (delicious apple juice/non-alcoholic mojito)... More

The rooftop restaurant is a lovely place to visit and look over the rooftops of Oxford. The food was good with a modern twist and nicely presented. Well worth a visit. (The dining room is not always open in the evening and it's probably best to book.)

Had very good lunch in the restaurant at the top of the Ashmolean Museum. Very helpful, attentive staff and very good food. Stylish environment. There were some easy chairs for those just wanting coffee too. Lovely outside terrace but sadly the day we visited the weather wasn't up to us using that. Recommended.

Tasty soups and afternoon tea. Cheesecake was very good and not the usual shop bought stuff. The chocolate pudding was equally delicious.
