We were recommended this establishment by the barman of another pub when I enquired about Belgian Beers. I was certainly not disappointed! I was pleasantly astounded by the huge range of continental beers, both on draft and bottled. The service we had was exemplary - we couldn't have wished for better. We opted for a sandwich lunch. This was first... More

I went to the Jam Factory to get some inspiration for writing. I was welcomed by friendly staff, a cold buffet of cereals and a welcoming atmosphere. It was perfect for writing. I was directed to the free coffee as well which I thought was a really nice touch. Cosy, creative, I felt the creative juices flowing.

This is where you breakfast if you stay at the Oxford Royal Hotel opposite. Very good choice, good service and unlimited tea and coffee.

Just dropped in here with a client for a coffee - and also had a really great spiced tomato juice and friendly service. The place is big, light, interesting, relaxed. Cool art on the walls, and the food looked good. Not much around the train station that I could see - so was happy to find something a bit different... More

Upon a recent visit to Oxford my husband and I were delighted to find this place as it is a bit different; quirky and arty, with original artworks on the walls. We stopped in for a mid-morning breakfast on a Sunday and there were only two other tables occupied, however the place did soon begin to fill up. We had... More

After living in Oxford for a while I was delightfully surprised to find this restaurant! The food was great, packed with flavour and all great produce, as well as delicious daily home-made cakes by the owners mother! Our Waitress, Sian, was very pleasant and happy to find out more information to cater to our specific dietary requirements. She constantly had... More

I have never been one to go to little independent pubs or restaurants but this has surely changed my mind. This atmosphere was great and we were greeted as soon as we walked through the door by a lovely lady and a gentlemen behind the bar. We were then seated quickly and given the menu to order. Our food did... More

I had high hopes when me and my friends arrived in the stylish looking restaurant. However the waitress sighed every time we altered an order, they brought the wrong food out for three of us, one egg on toast with 4 yokes but hardly any white, the bread was rubbery and I had to wait 1.5hours until mine finally turned... This became our second home while we were in Oxford. Friendly staff who were very accommodating letting us taste different drinks to see which we wanted to order. Lovely home made lemonade.
