We attended a private (wedding) party at The jam factory. Great atmosphere, plenty of guests though enough room not to feel overcrowded, good service by the staff. Music and band in one area, drinks etc in another, food etc another. All in all a very good spot.

The Jam Factory is a very interesting concept and the space has huge potential, with its history, lovely natural light and great art gallery. That said, the service borders on unfriendly and the food is expensive and underwhelming. It needs a serious rethink!

I went to The Jam Factory for my friend's 18th birthday party and left incredibly conflicted. The Boiler Room was very good for the party and the fact we were allowed to play our music as loud as we wanted was fantastic too! I was considering having my own 18th birthday party at The Jam Factory, but reconsidered this when... More

This was easily the most disappointing meal I have had in Oxford in the last 5 years. It was a business lunch. The stew was tasty, but the meat in the stew was poor quality - chewy, fatty and almost inedible. I got excited when desert arrived - it looked great- until you tasted it. A sort of Eton Mess,... The Jam Factory is a great place to meet people, or to just stop by when in Oxford, especially near the station or Said Business School. Informal with an attached gallery, you can come here for tea & cake in the morning or a real ale (or wine) in the evening. The food has always been excellent, so I've also... More

Suggested by a lady at the Station as we arrived. A little gem just across the way from the station. The "Oxford" marmalade used to be boiled under this roof! See for yourself I won't spoil the surprise

Had a great visit to the Jam Factory which is an Art X Gallery with niche restaurant. Really enjoyed seeing the work of Amy Ash which is intriguing and each piece drew me in trying to relate from my experience to the images of moments and memories in front of me. Had the best lamb burger with mint dressing served... More

I'm clearly going against the grain but I suppose I can only comment on my experience. We'd arrived in the city for the evening to go to the Comedy Club just around the corner so decided to go for a quick drink beforehand. It wasn't very busy at all, so we got served straight away. We decided we fancied cocktails,... More

I only stopped for tea but wanted to go back. Lovely setting and close to train station - free tea and coffee between 7-11am. The breakfast looked great and everything was well presented and clean. Will return !
