Been coming here since being a student and I've never been disappointed. It's under new management and I can't find a fault. Love the choice of craft largers. Had to wait for a few friends to turn up but there are board games to keep you busy. Food is top and staff are always welcoming. Highly recommend!

I had walked up to this end of Oxford from the city centre for the purpose of visiting The Half Moon. Unfortunately, we arrived about an hour before opening time; instead we decided to wait it out in here. I had been past previously, though never inside. It is spacious and slightly modern, yet still contains that classic "Oxford Pub"... More

Only went in for a drink but good selection of beers and ciders as well as a series of enjoyable snacks. Incredibly convenient (on The Plain roundabout) with a small backyard with covered alcoves. Small selection of tables outside by the roundabout. Good service. Will use again

We've spent a lovely day in Oxford, everything was just beautiful, and perfect. The only letdown was this restaurant (and finding a parking space for a day, but one could count on that). It was Saturday evening, they were run out of a lot things; not an ideal scenario, but OK, we changed our orders, ended up eating different kinds... More

We've been coming here for years and have seen a few changes and can say the consistent level of food and service is great. Jo Alex and the rest of the guys are just great at looking after you and are happy to accommodate your needs where at all possible. The sunday lunch is fab, as as the burgers and... More

Went for lunch during my hen-do weekend. They had a private area with a large table to seat 9 of us which was ideal! The food was lovely, we ordered in groups so the food didn't all come out at the same time but it wasn't really an issue.

Paid more than London prices for fish and chips that consisted of about 15 chips and the most anorexic fish I've seen. My friend's food, the truffle mac, seemed to have missed out on the truffles... Wouldn't recommend it or come back. Plus it stinks of paint at the mo.

The fish and chips were really good, the steak was of a good quality and flavour. My daughter had the chicken and ham pie and that was very nice
