Visited several times and always had a nice meal with a variety to suit most people. I love the Scallops with bacon - yummy! Service good. Lovely loos, very clean and nice decor.

Visited here as part of a trip to the Cotswolds and we were not disappointed. Friendly and efficient service and delicious food. I had fish and chips and my husband had the steak and hooky pie both of which were very tasty. Would highly recommend :)

For sake of full disclosure, I must confess this is my local, to which we often walk the dogs for a spot of lunch and a pint of Hooky. Caroline and Tony always make us feel at home, and I have never had a meal that wasn't first rate. The wine selection is reasonable and the beers are well-kept. Their... More

What a charming pub in a charming village, with lovely service and super food. Had lunch midweek there. Good spread of choices including vegetarian, and walkers will feel well fed on the handsome portions. The bubble and squeak got a good reception and the chef took the time to get the bacon absolutely cooked to order. I had the goats... More

We stopped by on our way through after a day trip north. The food is well above the quality of regular pub fare. The food is well prepared, the menu well designed and delivered. Cotswold products feature - pork belly, black pudding, berries. The pork belly was served with generous servings of mash, cabbage and apple compote plus crackling. The... More

Three of us had an evening meal in this wonderfully typical English country pub in the village where we were attending a Conference. The beef and hookey pie was stunning, full of large pieces of very tender beef served piping hot. The staff were polite, helpful and knowledge. The only regret was that the food was so filling there was... More
