We had lunch here on Saturday September 24. The fish main course was delicious and beautifully presented. The chocolate sharing plate, consisting of a range of creative chocolate dishes and sorbet, was to die for. There is an interesting wine list. No pretentiousness here - just seriously good cooking in a relaxed setting and a very friendly front of house.

However, if you are prepared to wait a little, you will be rewarded with delicious beautifully prepared food. Each course was wonderful and excellent value for money. We were in the... More

The service was not the best but I thoroughly enjoyed the lunch. The atmosphere is relaxing and the gardens are pretty.

The staff were lovely as I am disabled I didn't know if my small scooter would fit, but they made every effort to make sure we got in and were sat comfortably. We were quite excited as we had seen online reviews and were on a few days break away from London, and we giggled when we saw the tiny... More

We booked to eat in the restaurant and to stay overnight in one of the rooms. Unfortunately the whole experience was let down by the room which was very shabby indeed with an equally warn and tired looking ensuite that was no bigger than a cupboard. The food in the restaurant, however, was good and nicely presented but the continental... More

We stayed here while visiting the Feastival, and we're not disappointed, we were greeted by Nick and Sally who are excellent hosts, the rooms are unique, but it is a 400 year old building, we had the pink room which was very clean with a comfortable bed, along with sanctuary toiletries. As a previous reviewer said the road noise is... More
