I have used this restaurant for 30yrs and whenever I revisit nottingham it's a must. The Patro Chicken is by far THE best thing I've ever had in an Indian restaurant. Worth travelling from far and wide for. Well done to Sam and his team for fantastic service, food and always a cheerful greeting. It's like visiting old friends.

In Nottingham on business from London with a couple colleagues who are over from India. They were very eager to have some traditional food, I came across this restaurant on trip advisor and based on reviews and value for money we opted for Balti House. We were very happy with the great service and quality of the food. Nicest Korma... More

I work in Nottingham three days/two nights a week, & my treat for being away from the family is a curry, usually on both evenings. I'd tried a few others, which were merely OK but ultimately disappointing, including Memsaab, to which I was taken by a client once. Anyway, I found The Balti House on TA, went for the first... At the Balti House and enjoying the brilliant service, lovely ambience and of course, the beautiful gol gappa! It's a delicious little amuse bouche! Can't wait for my main...Paneer Biriyani and Chicken Balti!

No frills, just top quality food in a friendly atmosphere, service is always good under the guidance of Sam a legend in Nottingham's Indian food scene. The chicken Rogan-josh is highly recommended with the perfect blend of spice & garlic.

We stopped in here randomly on our way to a show at the Arena. The food was plentiful and of excellent quality, while remaining moderately priced.

Long overdue visit to see Sam at The Balti House, he (Sam) actually looks younger now than when I first met him 30 years ago!! It's a City Centre restaurant and has to no doubt cater for all kinds of parties (hence the glass table tops and wipe down menus) but you can't hide away from the exceptional service and... More

Visited on Friday night and had a great night! Nice atmosphere and the staff were all really friendly. Shared a range of starters and mains between a big group of us and all of it was fantastic. Couldn't fault it, will definitely be back
