Never disappoints

We have been eating at the Alley Cafe since 2009, the range of food is great and tastes just as good, lovely staff and atmosphere!

This place has a really relaxed vibe unfortunately the staff use this as a excuse to treat you with distaste and unwittinglyness to do their jobs. They bought out the wrong food order after all the that and i was met with a blank stare and no offer of getting the food i ordered or a refund.

Small cafe which is very compact but has good variety of veggie/vegan food that is delicious and well portioned. Good selection of drinks, brill dessert menu and friendly staff! Would recommend it!

Not been here for years. Popped in on a Saturday and were lucky to get seats, which has always been an issue. Had to ask for a menu. The special main course was really tasty with excellent combinations of tastes and textures. The only downsides were the rock hard potatoes and the waiting time. Yes they were busy but the... More

Great food, good atmosphere and general good find. Would recommend the burrito or the falafel burger as they were great.

I've visited Alley Cafe many times and have always had a good experience. We dropped in yesterday for a late Saturday lunchtime snack and had excellent burgers (one tempeh and one hemp) with side orders and coke. The menu doesn't change much (and that's a good thing) - although there are also specials. The food is innovative and diverse (but... More

My mum and I stopped here for lunch whilst exploring the city centre and absolutely loved everything about it! I ordered the Stavros wrap, which was a tortilla filled with humous (tasted homemade - impressive!), falafel, mint yogurt and salad, and my mum ordered the Alfie wrap, which was halloumi, humous, and salad, both were served with a small but... This is my favourite place for breakfast, ever! I love the food here, it's always high quality and served with a smile. In the last couple of visits, there's been a few home improvements going on which has been a bit distracting whilst trying to eat so it probably should be done when there's no customers in but other than... Really nice corner bar, wasn't easy to find. Small room with few tables and some bar chars next to the bar. Nice vegetarian menu, most of them can be vegan, gluten free too. We tried burito, burgers, humus and antiapsto, all was nice. Drunk smoothies with pineapple, berries, kiwi, passion fruit. Finally cake and coffee. We liked the food, the... More

This place is a great find, it's just down an alley right in the centre of Nottingham, and yet is off the beaten track and has real character. The atmosphere is lovely, the food is really tasty, friendly service and brilliant value for money. My friends and I aren't veggie and do enjoy meat but we all loved our meal... More
