Excellent service very friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. The food is really good the only problem I have with the food is the chips. Like most places you go now days they use frozen chips or fries. Real chips wood give this place a 5 star rating and may be word would spread. You can't beat the real deal. Breakfasts... More

I waited 1hr to get served at the bar, they only had 1 person serving behind the bar and 2 collecting glasses and cleaning tables. There were more people in the queue for the bar than in the pub. It's a shame because the food was nice when it came. Get more staff on the bar

First time we've been here in years. And we won't be rushing to come back. The wife's food was cold. Which was resolved quickly. With the offer of a free desert. All good. I had a large mixed grill which was not great not a nice selection of meat s very grisly and small. Some not very hot. Not very... More

The meal we had on bank holiday Monday was very disappointing. Firstly it took a very long time to order as there were only two staff behind the bar. They were taking orders for both drinks and also for all the people ordering food for over 60 tables. Having eventually ordered it took a very long time for the food... More

I cannot convey the appalling food and service my family received on my visit to this establishment. Half the food missing off the plate (told they had ran out when queried although next table to us then got the item we were missing) Cold food (veg still frozen in the middle, then they took it away to microwave so ended... The table we booked 2 weeks ago was occupied when we arrived and food had only just been served to them so we had to be given another table in the noisy family area. I had to queue for 15 minutes to order food/drinks. Two of our meals were missing green beans as listed on the menu and when we... More

Beautiful old fashioned pub in a beautiful quiet riverside village, there's a few things to do including feeding the ducks, geese n swans on the Trent. The pub has a nice outdoor area good for nice hot weather. The staff are very friendly, and they provide a service. And all of our kids ate for £1 (the Monday special when... More
