I signed up to trip advisor just to review this place. So first they served me orange juice with a glass the was dirty. It even had a fly inside it. I asked for the salt beef hash without egg and it arrived with egg. The server had an attitude. Really wasn't friendly or approachable. You know when waiters make... More

I've been here a couple of times, and while I've enjoyed the food, the atmosphere always seems a bit frantic, with staff rushing trying to seat people, and not helped by the echoing conversations bouncing round the cavernous ex-bank building. However, this deli/cafe offers a good range of snacks and light meals, as well as unusual coffees. Food is presented... More

We ordered salads, which we expected to be a light main course. But both salads on a small flat wooden board looked less than a light starter. Paying £14.90 for them and coming away hungry was not good. This was disappointing as the sandwiches looked substantial at the next table. Try putting them in a bowl next time!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely lunch here on a Saturday. It was quite busy but we were seated straightaway. We had the charcuterie platter and a pizza bread to share. They were both delicious. There is also a huge range of beers, wines and coffee.

This is a fabulous place, the food was outstanding. We just had to wait a little while for it! It's absolutely worth the wait but just be sure not to go on your lunch hour! Definitely the place to go if you are in no rush and want a lovely afternoon with the girls.

Ordered their equivalent of a full English breakfast & sat upstairs. The most anaemic cup of tea I've ever seen was served with leaves in a strainer. After stewing for 10 minutes I sent it back as not qualifying for tea. Second cup had double quantity of teal leaves & better. Breakfast was average .. black pudding over cooked, sausage... More

Had a lovely late brunch here. Large variety of coffee on offer and waitress advised us on which to chose (Papua New Guinea) which was delicious. Sat on the balcony looking over the deli. Will definitely visit her again.

A friend recommended this deli for lunch. It was extremely busy on a Sunday and as you are unable to reserve tables we had to wait a short while but had a coffee at the bar until we were seated. The menu is varied and interesting and we all enjoyed our choices.

Those who know me will tell you that I don't do change. So when I'm off work I usually treat myself to a full English breakfast. No today though I felt like a change so I had for breakfast avocado. poached egg on toast. Also on the plate spinach and cherry tomatoes. I wish I brought my camera with me... More

This is a real gem in the heart of Nottingham. Wandering around the deli and sampling odds and ends is always a pleasure, and the café menu is interesting and enticing. We ordered a sandwich and a salad to share for lunch. Fresh, high quality ingredients, with combinations that worked brilliantly. And all at a competitive price. Our new favourite... More
