Lovely, homely, owner run charming tea room + more. Really worth a visit. Charming and friendly. Nice pot of tea for two. One large slice of espresso cake to share. About a fiver. Home made espresso cake was really really good. Another customer warmly recommended the apple crumble. Highly recommended.

Always friendly, service is quick tea and coffee are hot, one of the few places that you get asked whether or not you want your drinks served first or when your meal is ready, (although there is not normally a huge delay) and the lemon meringue pie, if there is any left, is superb. If the weather is good it... More

A regular haunt in the summer as you can sit outside in the summer months. The owners are very friendly and obliging. Hummous and tatziki with pitta bread are a favourite. Coffee and scones are good too

This is a quaint, old fashion looking cafe or tea room. Very relaxing place - ideal after a long journey from the north! No pretensions, no fuss. Just straightforward , but good grub. (Please note there are a few Greek dishes on the menu which looked good)

Visited here this afternoon for a quick stop for coffee and a bite to eat, I'd never been before but some family I was with had been and said it was a nice little place. Coffee and scones were great and some of my family had the toasties that looks very nice too, overall a nice cafe and friendly staff.... More

My husband and I popped in for coffee and cake during a valentines week away. We'd been here before but it was now under new management and the new owners were just delightful! Cake and coffees were wonderful and the place is both quaint and eclectic! I imagine on an evening it's very cosy and romantic with candles and fairy... More

A lovely little family-run cafe, a great place to hang out. The menu is broad for a modest restaurant, and daily specials liven it up.

Lovely friendly cafe, tucked away just near the old geol, we had coffee and warm homemade scone with butter and homemade jam, and lemon meringue both were absolute gorgeous... We bought two pieces of the homemade deep filled (and really is deep) apple pie to bring home, and was gorgeous.. Would highly recommend a visit if your going or passing... More
