We popped in here for lunch while shopping in Hexham. The service is great and the food is absolutely delicious. I had the quiche with salad; the quiche was one of the best I have tasted and was combined with a large super fresh salad. My mum had the corned beef pie which was equally delicious. We will be back!

This was our first visit but definitely not our last! An unassuming cafe that is light and airy. It isn't upstairs exactly, though you do have 4 or 5 steps to go up. The menu is quite good, plenty to choose from and also specials on the board. I was taken aback at how quick the service is, no sooner... More

First time at mrs miggins, what a lovely place, the staff really make you feel welcomed. The menu is lovely home baked products, my husband had the homemade quiche and salad he said he would eat that every day if he could. We definitely go back and take our children with us. there's plenty of choice for everyone. Thanks to... More

Up a side street near to the Abbey and main street in Hexham this is a little jewel in the crown. A clean upstairs, light tea room which serves good quick food prepared to order and the decaf latte was delicious and pot of tea, hot. Toilets were clean and it was a very peasant visit. Would recommend and visit... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch in this lovely cafe. Tucked away in a side street, we almost walked past, but we saw a board on the corner of the street. I'm so glad we went in. There was plenty of room between the tables and the decor was very clean & fresh. We had toasties and tea which were delicious.... More

Pleasant lunch, restaurant full and shared our table with another couple who could not find an empty table. Tea always excellent, cake delicious, and enjoyed my prawn sandwich. Always a good place to eat, as witness the fact that it was packed! Thank you Mrs Miggins.

Having seen the advertising sign in the road we were a bit hesitant to follow the sign to the tea rooms. However, we did and when you enter through a side door off the Main Street we guessed it would be with the stop. The tea rooms were bustling and selecting the only table remaining sat down. The coffee and... More

Relaxed, light and airy tea room which could do to be moved from its current location to the high street 10 yards away, so that more travellers would be tempted into this Little Gem.

Love this little cafe. There is a great selection and the cakes at the counter are always excellent. Staff are very friendly and service is quick. A good traditional cafe.
