Visited on a Sunday Afternoon, Very quiet but appeared to have sufficient staff. Waited for drinks which never arrived until we half way through meals, had to ask for them twice. Then 20 minute wait for dessert, decided to ask for the bill and cancelled the dessert.

Took my 8 year old for food before a concert. We'd finished our starters & still didn't have our drinks despite asking twice where they were. They told me they only had one member of staff working the bar which, despite it not being that busy, isn't ideal! Once they arrived my son's wasn't what he'd asked for so had... More

The drinks were nice as were the starters but the mains were just fine. For starters (as part of an offer) I had the mozzarella dippers and my fiance had double layered nachos which were lovely. My main 'chargrilled chicken sandwich' was a dry brioche bun, a bit of tomato and a scrap of red onion. No mayo, sauce or... More

When we arrived we were welcomed into the restaurant by some incredibly friendly staff and seated straightaway (they even asked where we wanted to sit even though it was very busy). We were given some time to order drinks and meals. The drinks came out, I had ordered the new birthday cake shake, very very yummy but incredibly sweet (I... More

Visited on Monday 10th April. Both of us are gluten free and I am coeliac do eating out is always a bit stressful. We need not have worried. The gf menu was flexible and varied. The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. We were served quickly and efficiently but the restaurant was quiet as it was early evening. I can... More

Been to TGI's a few times now but have began to realise after multiple experiences they never seem to get your steak right. Both the MetroCentre and Eldon Square TGI have cooked my steaks WELL DONE rather than the Rare I ask for. My sister also had a steak one time and asked for hers Medium Rare and it came... More

After being to tgi in the gate I was very dubious about going to the one in Eldon square as i had a very bad experience in the previous unit. However, it's now one of my new favourite places to go to and grab lunch. The staff are always so friendly, and the food has always been good, I especially... More

I came here last night for something to eat and couldn't decide between a burger or something light. The burger's looked unbelievable and I wish I'd of got that now! I ended up getting a sharing portion of nacho's but they weren't the best. Nacho's and a drink cost me £15. The place is really nicely decorated and the staff... More

This was a spontaneous trip to Newcastle to see my daughter on my birthday and we popped into TJIs for a spot of lunch. We hadn't booked ahead but we were given the option to take a seat at the bar and enjoy one of there many yummy cocktails;the younger members of the family went for the refillable coke option.... Fast efficient and friendly service. Jack is a fantastic waiter. He could learn a lot of others about time management and customer service. Oh by the way food was good too.
