I ordered a takeaway via Just Eat from the Imperial Raj. Delivery was requested at 7.30pmon Saturday 8th February 2020. Delivery was confirmed for 7.40pm which was acceptable. Food arrived at 6.00pm when only daughter was at home food ended up in bin as cold...and congealed when I arrived home. Complaint to Just Eat answer well you got the food. Call to restraunt reply will look into it and phone put down with no request for details This restraunt should be avoided.More
I ordered a takeout at 7.45pm. the guy said it would be delivered between half an hour to 3 quarters, at 8.30pm it had still not arrived, at 8.45, I rang again they told me it would be there in 10mins 9..O'clock it had arrived...so I asked for some discount as for the late delivery, the delivery guy rang up, and they said pay full price or nothing. I though this was very disappointing from the imperial Raj. I will be putting this on all social media sites.More
Went with friends for a catch up and we all fancied an indian, we never got it ! we arrived at 7 and walked out at 9, the restaurant was not busy and we have no idea why it took so long, by 9 we...where all past it and decided to leave, a great shame we where looking foreward to it. won’t be going back in a hurry, ruined our night out.More
I hate writing bad reviews but have to say I feel upset and angry, I ordered a take away for delivery and it was an hour late, swimming in ghee, tasteless, generic and sans Tiger beer 😡
Fantastic vegan food, fresh and flavoursome. Highly recommend this restaurant. I love Indian food and as a vegan I was thrilled to come across some awesome dishes.
I order On Friday evening, curry was bland rang them to complain, told me to go through just eat. Rang just eat they couldn’t help me. When I asked for them to send the food out they told me they had to have the food...back! The manger was rude and shouted down the phone later. It then took 2 hrs for my order to be replaced When I revived my replacement food chicken was raw and black and look like someone was just sick in the food- see photos below! Would never order for here again! Food was awful, staff are rude, and the manager was even worse and would refuse refund and put the phone down on numerous accounts.More
I have a very unusual allergy and they dealt with it perfectly - Waiter Goldie made sure everything I ate was safe for me and he went out of his way to make my night good. Specially made food etc. to suit my allergy and...I felt very reassured as often I don’t trust restaurants as it isn’t an easy allergy to accommodate. Food was very nice and service quick and brilliant - will definitely visit again.More
We have visited Imperial Raj several times throughout the years and the food is always delicious! They will also accommodate any dietary needs! Very relaxed atmosphere and service - extremely friendly staff!
Due to weather we decided to have a delivery instead of visiting as planned. Menu was not very explanatory and our meal arrived over an hour later than ordered for despite two phone calls. Labels were unclear so we didn't know which dish was which....Food spicy but no flavour - unless in a 'mild' curry you like green chillies complete with seeds! no apologies!More
We try to visit every 1-2 months, have done for years. Never a bad meal and always good service would recommend specialty menu
