Went on a Saturday night at 7.30. There was only one other couple in there, and nobody else came in the whole time we were there. No draught beer which is disappointing. Atmosphere wasn't there. Parking is awful at the moment due to roadworks. The waitress was pleasant enough, but the real low point was being told there wasn't enough... More

My friend and I have just visited the Vineyard for lunch, we both love this place. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced, its such a relaxing place to be. The lady that runs it is always so welcoming. If you have not been before please give it a try.

I stopped in on the off chance and got a great deal on my food. This wasn't the cheapest meal that I've had in Northampton but it was certainly one of the best, and they do pre theatre discounts on production of your tickets. The female proprietor is lovely and friendly and the service is excellent

Nice looking small venue opposite the theater - 4 of us visited for a pre-theater dinner (2 adults 2 teen kids). Nice table in the window, nice pleasant atmosphere. Really friendly and helpful staff. Wait between ordering and courses was fine, timed perfectly for the theater. Can't fault the service, value or venue. However the food was unfortunately a little... More

Food was top class so was the service. At a cost of £14.95 for two courses we didn't think it would be up to much but we're very pleasantly surprised with quality and quantity. The lady who served us was very welcoming and we will defiantly be going back.

Booked for a pre theatre meal on a Saturday evening. Arrived at 6pm and our order was taken promptly. Starters arrived reasonably quickly, but we waited ages for the main course. After chasing up the waiting staff, the mains appeared at a little after 7pm. Two dishes were overcooked and a third was congealed. The restaurant was busy and perhaps... More

Should have turned around when I saw the 'food rating 3 "generally satisfactory"' sign. Despite pre booking and arriving 10 mins late due to struggling to park our table was not ready. We sat down and our table was prepared around us. We were given a wine list, however we did not want wine, and there was no other drinks... More

This is a lovely small restaurant that delivered an extensive pre theatre menu and normal menu. The service was excellent and food was very good. Will be going again!!

I ate here with my family before heading to the theatre. The staff here are really friendly and attentive. I ordered the goats cheese to start which was delicious, I then had for the main course the spaghetti carbonara which was nice. From the outside the restaurant looks run down but inside its a lovely experience and I would go... More

My wife and I popped into The Vineyard after an evening at the Errol Flynn Filmhouse for some supper and how pleased we were with our decision. A friendly welcome and an excellent menu. For mains we had lemon sole in a tarragon butter sauce and duck breast in a winter berry sauce with lovely fresh veg. 3 important ticks... More
