I come here regularly and sometimes the food is great, like this visit. We had the nacho sharer starter and it was so much bigger than we were expecting, so it was really filling. It would've been adequate on its own. The main meals were average in comparison. I also came with a voucher and was told if i didn't... More

We went to a place we like going to. Booked a table and glad we did as was very busy and had a function on. As normal service was great, but for the first time food not. The starters were good and I would recommend the black pudding stack with chorizo ! But with 3 of our mains we had... More

Visited this country pub while staying at a nearby hotel. What a find. Beautiful setting and gorgeous food. We ate from the bbq menu and sat outside while the chef barbecued in front of us. If your in the Chapel Brampton area well worthy visit

Ordered mains of lasagne, garlic bread & side salad. I ordered from the Chargrill Menu a Thick cut juicy 10 oz steak chunky chips & free range eggS - plural. Now... More

Even though very busy they still managed to fit us in. The waitresses were very polite and professional. Danny and Ellis's service at the bar was excellent and made me a great carrot and ginger Non alcoholic cocktails. Great idea for drivers and a good choice. The food was plentiful and served hot.

Called here for a drink after checking into the hotel next door. It is an old railway station building and railway line suppose hence the name Brampton Halt. Good selection of beers

Sunday Lunch with a group of twenty at the Brampton Halt. It's been a while since I was there last. It used to be my favourite watering hole during cycle rides on Brampton valley cycling route that goes upto Market Harborough. The Brampton Halt, is an idyllic country pub located in the quaint village of Chapel Brampton. Brampton Halt used... More
