Unforgettable Yorkshire curd tart & rascal scones- cream included.. accomplished by English tea. Sitting at the corner, friendly atmosphere. Walking accros the river, close to amenities & shops in the high street. Worth a visit. Tips: pls don't forget your chutney's jam for breakfast toast.

9am on a Friday and there was a queue for breakfast. Swiss Breakfast is highly recommended. Great service here and high quality ingredients. Follow your breakfast with a trip into the shop.

Lovely place to come for afternoon tea or a fat rascal. They have a good selection of teas and coffees. The fat rascals are amazing and would definitely recommend.

If in York or Harrogate or the other places that Betty's is situated, personally we find Betty's is a must place to visit. If there is a queue its worth the wait. Lots of choice, excellent food and service at good prices. Excellent

Booked afternoon tea here for myself, my husband and daughter. The staff were warm and welcoming. An excellent selection of teas. The food was excellent. Betty’s could certainly teach the Ritz a thing or two about making scones. A thoroughly enjoyable visit.

We booked the dearer afternoon tea in the Belmont Room here and it didn’t disappoint. A pianist playing, immaculately dressed waiters and waitresses with excellent service. The food was fabulous and plentiful. More of the sandwiches were available if we wanted them. The cakes were...More

We arrived about 12:30 which I would presume to be a busier time. There was a queue but it went down very quickly and one of the girls handed out menus to choose from ready for when we got in. The service is quick but no... More

Betty’s tends to be quite busy at the weekends so it is advisable to book in advance. If you decide not to book you can expect to wait 20 minutes to an hour at midday as it is peak time. I think it is possible to get the... More
