Nice place ,relaxing and nice staff.but food and coffee nothing special really. I had scramble d eggs which was cold and bread cheap quality.quite expensive. Cappuccino lacks flavour. I won't be in a rush to go back again

Your bike shed is predictably themed on bikes and various bikes adorn the premises on walls, in windows etc. Decor is sort of rustic/ farm kitchen and is visually attractive and a comfort zone. Good selection of food and snacks to take you through the day from breakfast. All freshly prepared on premises with quality Ingredients. Unhurried service but bordering... More

Lovely cafe, with a warm, welcoming and friendly feel, had a delicious chai latte whilst escaping the rain.

I'm a big fan of independent cafes and noticed this one on previous visits to York. I like the bicycle theme (and it's matched with practical cycling support inside - they do service bikes here). Really wanted to give this place a five star rating but it just falls short. Taste is a very personal thing, of course, but I... More

Had a lovely breakfast here, nice relaxed atmosphere and welcoming to our children. Food is lovely and so is the coffee. Would definitely return on another visit to York

We came here for an early lunch on a Sunday. It was busy upstairs but lots of space downstairs. We sat downstairs but it was a bit chilly with no windows and a big open space. Ordered a chicken pesto and mozzarella toastie and a fish finger sandwich with sweet potato fries. We also ordered a homemade sausage roll to... More

Overpriced food and could easily have gone a bit further for the money. Nice ambience though with a cycling theme

Stopped off for a drink and nibble whilst on the city wall walk. They offer a range of beers and drinks and some good food. We only had chips and cake. The chips were fab as were the sweet potato ones and the cakes were lovely. The other food looked good and it was reasonably priced. Worth a visit- oh... More

It was quite busy, we sat on stools in the window along with students glued to their lap-tops. After reading the menu I decided on only a coffe due to the breakfast being too large, there wasn't individual items available and the rest of the menu everything was in bread. My companion wanted the full monty but didn't order due... More

I stopped mid cycle ride and was welcomed by very friendly staff, a comfortable atmosphere and fab food. Plenty of room for my bike on the racks inside, out of the way from other customers. Live cycling on the screens and a bike shop attached but it was very popular with non cyclists too. Can't wait to go back.
