Super little bar with great live music. Landlord a card too. Reasonable prices and a bit of a find. Quirky little place with great atmosphere.

Basic pub no frills. Pleasant atmosphere, not very busy. Average selection of drinks available. Live music was on but a bit disappointing.

Came across this when we stood outside and could here live music. Being a big fan of live acoustic guitar music we stepped inside to an amazing bloke playing guitar and singing. Small bar area selling variety of ales and a lovely stout. Only gripe...More

Basic pub with little or no character on a street full of unique hostelries, so this was a disappointment. Friendly barmaid who was courteous but such a shame to sit in what is, to all intents & purposes a soulless public house!More

Hi I was in the pub early Dec (the 3rd I think) with a group of friends. There was a gentleman playing live music. Just him and his guitar. Anyway, we all thought he was sensational. What was his name? Many thanks. Ps the pub was great too.

Hiya. Do you have any availability for New Year's Eve? We'd need 2 double bedrooms. Also do you have any parking? Many thanks. Debs Horrocks

Hi Debs, Sorry but the Yorkshire Terrier is a pub/restaurant and doesn't have rooms. It is also in the centre of York so the only parking available is the city car parks. Thanks.
