Wonder how it got Fish and Chip shop of the year. Busy but very understaffed Had much better fish and chips elsewhere. Did not enjoy our meals and won't return. Soggy greasy and not tasty.

Fantastic food, I had cod and chips and the fish was beautiful. My husband had the Whitby scampi and it was the best we've ever had.

Saw more people with Quayside fish and chip take away boxes than the other shop along the road, so opted for it for lunch. Two lots of fish and chips - most of which was eaten but there was a lot to get through. The fish (cod) was very good, you even get to know where it was caught. The... More

Went here on 23rd August 2016. Very friendly and efficient staff. We had fish and chips. It was lovely. A little expensive but well worth it.

Ok, so a bit of a queue to get served for takeaway fish and chips, but well worth the wait! Yep, a little pricey, cod and chips £7.00 but well worth it, one portion fed two adults, not greasy, fish was beautiful. Worth a try!

I definitely believe that Quayside do the best fish and chips in Whitby and also for a reasonable price. Lovely and freshly cooked with friendly service too! Would highly recommend!

Like a number of fish and chip places in Whitby, this is a very busy one. You may have to queue outside. I don't know how this compares to others in the town. I'd say £6-7 for fish and chips take away is on the pricey side (you can buy cheaper and better further south), The fish (cod) is very... More
