Situated in the old town area. The premises are small and quaint. There are a few seats outside, a few more on the ground floor with several more upstairs in two rooms. There is a good choice of coffee, teas and drinks. They also have a very good selection of cakes/scones and other foods i.e. sandwiches. The coffee and tea... More

As you can see the cakes here are impressive! I had the lumpy bumpy and my partner had a baguette. Savoury food is standard sandwich options but its the cakes you really come here for! Only thing I would say is that if you are seated upstairs there are no menus and you need to come back down to order... More

We popped in for coffee and cake on the May Bank Holiday weekend and found space on a table upstairs. The small back room was VERY HOT compared to the temperature outside for some reason and everyone in the room commented on this. We persevered in cooling down by removing clothing and opened the window as wide as we could... More

After reading the reviews I was really looking forward to having some cake here. I was expecting the selection of cakes to be larger and was hoping for more traditional sponge cakes but to no avail. I opted for an chocolate oreo one and resorted upstairs with my partner. We were the first ones in there so luckily got a... More

Stopped here for coffee on a recent trip to Whitby. Sat at a table outside on Church Street. The staff were friendly and the coffee was lovely. Hidden away in the old town and may get overlooked but definitely worth a visit. Very reasonably priced considering the area it's in. Can't rate the food as only had coffee but if... More
