A recommendation for good food at a good price and it was spot on. Friendly service, good choice of pizza, risotto, pasta. Lovely garlic bread starter. My pizza had lots of topping - always a positive for me! Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Very good value for money.

Fancied an Italian meal whilst in Whitby. Came across Cosa Nostra on TripAdvisor so decided to give it a try. Nice decor, with great large windows. Quick and friendly service. Starters were nice however slightly large! Pizza was very tasty. Ordered the duck to be cooked medium however it came well done, but was tasty nonetheless. Rosemary sautéed potatoes were... More

We last visited here a couple of years ago and the food was distinctly 'so so'. Not this time. My linguine diavolo (king prawns, chillies, olives etc) was very good indeed, as was my wife's lasagne. Starters were very good too, and my panettone bread and butter pudding was excellent.

Visited here on the Friday evening. Food selection was ok , nice atmosphere but nothing stood out! Parmesan Salad only had one shaving. Pasta ragu was tasty, husbands steak was ok but presentation could of been better. Service was a little slow even though not too busy. Would recommend for a quick meal but not for an evening or special... More

Whitby is justifiably famed for its Fish and Chips (and in fairness, other seafood too). It should also be known for an Italian Restaurant, just over the swingbridge on the Abbey side, close to the cobbled streets of the old town. Cosa Nostra has a great menu of high quality and reasonably priced Italian food. We were so impressed, we... More

The owner is a bit grumpy and he can come across as a bit sharp with people, but the food is good, and not too expensive. There is no need to book , many times we have just popped in on the off chance. Italian food, pizza eta.

Sausage and egg sandwich on wholemeal bloomer. Three sausages and a perfectly (for me) cooked egg - white properly cooked and yolk oozing out. And decent coffee too.

Thank SuziKu
