Large, echo filled hall with plenty of seating. Basic Italian fare, reasonably priced and not rushed. Pasta made a change from sea food. Doesn't jump out and say "eat here" very basic. Nothing else to say about the place.

Booked a table in advance for a Saturday night and on arrival were following a waiter to a table when he turned around to shout to the maitre d' "that one's taken!" So not the best start. We ended up seated on a small landing part way between the ground floor and the upper floor, a couple of steps down... More

This is a traditional Italian restaurant with good quality food and drink including delicious meat and veggie calzone pizzas. The waiters are attentive and helpful, and clearly take a lot of pride in the quality of the food. The atmosphere is quite classic, so may appeal to couples looking for a quiet meal together or families dining together for a... More

Been here twice and both times we have had a really good meal. We called early Saturday evening and were given a table which had to be vacated in two hours as it was fully booked. No problem the service is very good and we never felt rushed. Overall a good little spot in Whitby if you do not want... More

We recently visited Whitby for a few days, and we're lucky enough to eat at Cosa Nostra one evening. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a lot of character. The staff were very friendly and service was good. We found the food to be excellent. The seafood especially was very good. The prices were about average for thus... More

Booked this for a Saturday night whilst visiting for the weekend with friends. The waiter who was on front desk showed us where we were to sit by waving his arm randomly in the direction of the corner of the room..not a good first impression! After saying that, the food was quite good and reasonably priced ..just a shame the... More
