I've been toying between very good and excellent. .. back and forth... terrified of what owner Dave might say if I don't find anything 'wrong' but don't give it the full 5 stars (although they are not stars. ..they are more like dots/ circles. .)...More

Well what's not to like about this place! It offers exactly what it says on the sign! Two words, pie and mash, what more do you need to say! Cracking little gold mine which never fails to please.

Came here years ago. Tried the chicken and cider and sausage and black pudding but couldn't really taste the cider or black pudding. Good portion sizes

We had the Sausage and Black Pudding, Homity, and Steak and Stout pies all were excellent. Good quick service and nice atmosphere. Just be aware the place is tiny. This is nice but you may need to wait. We'll worth a wait and the money.

We are a small unlicensed eatery, serving just pie mash peas and gravy. We welcome dogs and their owners but have a dog free area upstairs. We don't have any Alcohol, but you are more than welcome to bring your own or pop over the road to the Endeavour pub who will let you bring a nice cold pint back to your food.If we do something wrong or make a mistake, please let us know or contact me through the messaging service and i will put it right.I believe you should be able to have a filling quality meal for a decent price.
