No frills cafe selling a selection of pies served with lashings of gravy, mashed potatoes and peas. Pies are delicious, service is swift, no alcohol served but no problem bringing your own. Reasonably priced unique gastronomic experience.go there.

We were lucky enough to grab a free table at this highly recommended eatery! And we were not disappointed, the pie was delicious and the added atmosphere a bonus!

6 of us visited on Saturday lunchtime what a treat. yum! My steak and ale pie was well cooked, packed with meat and accompanied by creamy mash. We all enjoyed our various pies without reservation.

Great find by my partner. I had corn beef hash pie, whilst Sue had steak 'n ale pie. Wolfed the lot down. Small, intimate place with 50s music in the background. Polite staff. Food came out really quickly. Brilliant value. Recommended.

Tiny little place but with a big heart! Food was gorgeous. Around 10-12 different choices in a 40s style environment. Loads of interesting memorabilia around the cafe. Just a warning - servings are very generous but you can't stop eating!! Less than £7.00 each too. Great value for money. A little gem

Chose this as an alternative to fish and chips and also because they allowed us to bring our two Yorkshire Terriers in with us. It's an olde style house and you walk into what would have been the main room, including a frame with all the coins and keys etc that were pulled out of the old fireplace. So it's... More

A bit cramped but the choice of pies was extensive . I had Minted Lamb which was delicious . The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will go there again and recommend them to all my friends.

We are a small unlicensed eatery, serving just pie mash peas and gravy. We welcome dogs and their owners but have a dog free area upstairs. We don't have any Alcohol, but you are more than welcome to bring your own or pop over the road to the Endeavour pub who will let you bring a nice cold pint back to your food.If we do something wrong or make a mistake, please let us know or contact me through the messaging service and i will put it right.I believe you should be able to have a filling quality meal for a decent price.
