Service a little confused but didn't wait too long and the food was plentiful and tasty. Had a very nice house special biryani and my friend a mild chicken curry. With drinks under twenty five pounds for two.

We arrived on a busy night, however we were seated in minutes. The tiled floor was slippy and the carpet very dirty. The table lining was grubby, washed out and had seen better days. The service was quick, the little girl worked her socks off all evening unlike the guys walking around doing very little. The food was good, very... More

First of all I encountered rude, argumentative & ill informed front of house. Then having collected my order I was dissapointed to find a dish of no taste other than that of musty, past its best garlic. MacDonalds curry sauce sachets are more authentic. Never again

Very nice restaurant with good choice of dishes on the menu. We had the balti lamb, Karachi chicken, butter chicken but the stand out dish with the tandoori duck tawa. Nice rice and paratha. Good friendly service.

Came last year, have a wonderful review, this time not as good. Patia was hot but not sour as I would expect, or as it was described on the menu. Service little bit lacking, food just put in front of me, not served like it was last time. So I would come back but I will look else where next... More

Visited here whilst on holiday in Whitby. We ordered prosecco with our meal, when it arrived the bottle was actually warm. We asked for a replacement, and it was brought without delay. Delicious starters of onion bhajis and lamb kebab. Mains were King Prawn bhuna and chicken madras. They do a fixed menu of 2 starters, 2 mains, and 2... More

Had a lamb buhna. Wife normally not keen on curry but she really enjoyed it. The coconut rice was also a nice touch. Would return if in area. Probably eat in the restaurant.

We ordered a takeaway to be delivered, the first member of staff sounded about 11 and said she couldn't hear me, I was then passed onto another guy, when I asked for my curries to be made Asian style he just didn't respond - when I gave my number he took it down wrong twice. Over an hour later it... More

We came here as a family during our break in Whitby with our 11 year old and 5 year old children for an evening meal on our final night. Our 5 year old had decided he wanted chicken tikka masala and our 11 year old went for a korma. Both haven't had a huge amount of Indian cuisine so we... More

Greatly improved since my last visit, thoroughly enjoyed our experience, we all three of us chose a different meal and a selection of breads and shared. It was wonderful, our favorite curry experience is Akbars and this came very close.
