Lovely community atmosphere here - they obviously know and care for their local customers as well as visitors. Huge portions (pie, peas and chips) - homemade fare. The burger and chips the kids ordered was enough for 2. Great value grub.

On the high street, not fancy, basic good food, good value for money , ideal if you are in your walking boots etc

This cafe is usually very crowded, although there is usually room up the narrow stairs. We enjoyed a wholesome meal of Roast Pork with plenty of veg, best value lunch in a very long time.Service was friendly, but there was little space under the stairway!

Just the thing on a cold November morning, delightful staff in a good old fashioned British Cafe. Last of the Summer Wine in real life.

There's a bustle about this place and it seems popular with cyclists and tourists generally. Good food and coffee, fair prices, right in the centre of town. Not much else to say.
