Best place to keep returning to if you want to be looked after in a wonderful venue. Used to be one of Norwich old shoe factories and you can still spot the original casts hanging around (two have become wall lights). Definitely the place to come for a lovely evening meal, if value feeling special.

Dined at the Last Wine Bar one Friday evening a couple of weeks ago, with the food and service being as good as it always is. The restaurant was busy, but the the service was attentive and just right. I had Beef Carpaccio for starters, which was both tasty and quite filling. For my main course I had the Fillet... More

I've been enjoying this place since it first opened and watched it grow into a true icon for the city. Boss James has a special talent of hiring and encouraging a great team, while having an unusual palate that selects wines to die for. It might not have a Michelin (snobby twerps) but the food grows in stature year on... More

Not only were all three courses (pigeon, arancini and cheesecake) really delicious, but there is also a wide selection of wines that can be ordered by the glass so having a different wine with each course is no problem at all.

Regularly eat here for a girls' night out. Great ambiance and consistently good food. Probably the best steak in Norwich.

This was an outstanding lunch. We arrived late into the lunch period, but were under no pressure to rush in either ordering or eating. The attentiveness of the staff was good without being intrusive. The menu made it very difficult to choose what to have, but some of us had duck another vegetarian (Hake) and the fourth had slow roast... More

Visited as a family of four mid week without a reservation and were lucky to get a table. Reservation is definitely recommended, especially if you want a choice of tables. Restuarant is split into three dining rooms, two upstairs and one downstairs. Of the two upstairs, the main bar is quite informal and the dining room more so. Staff were... More

Our dinner for three, on quite a busy weekday evening, ticked every box ... exceptionally good food from an extensive menu - and Last always has a number of "Specials" in addition - and attentive, efficient and friendly service. Starters, mains and desserts were all delicious and attractively presented. There are so many tempting things on the dessert menu in... More

It was midweek so the place wasn't stressed but nonetheless it was an excellent experience. Service was proficient, intelligent and pleasant. A good unpretentious menu and good food presented well and in generous portions. My steak was superb. Good wines by the glass and quality international beers. Well done.

Outstanding food, though slight quibbles with overall experience. Online booking had not been noted (though a no-show had freed a table for us so not an issue). Then initial table at the top of the stairs leading to the toilets smelled strongly of 'drains' (there had apparently been a flood a couple of days before) so we asked to be... More
