Went here for a celebration, the service was excellent. The menu is trying to be upscale however the execution although good, was not perfect. The duck was a bit overcooked and dry and the steak was well done when we ordered medium rare. The sea bass and cod were cooked very good. Charming staff and not too expensive. The seating... More

Some friends and I went there last Friday. I booked a table 2 weeks ahead, however, someone apparently 'cancelled our booking'. What? No one seemed to care and the lady who was in charge told us not to worry since she could find us a table very soon. Little did we know that that would be almost 1 hour!! She... More

Ate here last week, whilst staying over in Norwich. Firstly, the staff are lovely. Very warm and friendly, efficient and fast. The food itself was presented beautifully, and tasted even better. The menu offers quite a choice, though I think it would be better to have a sheet of specials delivered to the table as there were quite a few... More

Was recommended by some tourists who happened upon this place and raved about the wine choices. I arrived early which was fortunate as I had not booked and could only have the table for an hour. Great menu choices including fish of the day. Staff very happy to recommend wine to compliment food. Lovely atmosphere. Food served promptly piping hot,... More

Well the title of this review says it all. Was at the restaurant with a group of friends and everyone reported the food as being very tasty. Service was friendly yet professional, and there was no shortage of drinks.

We picked this restaurant after reading the trip advisor reviews and we're lucky enough to get a late table on the day. Food and service were both brilliant, fish steak and cheese board all highly recommended, good wine choice and really feel good vibe about the place. Would definitely return.

Located on St Georges Street just over the water north of Norwich city centre, this establishment comprises of a number of different zones - including a friendly and busy bar, and, across the passageway, an excellent restaurant. Both the bar and a la carte menus had a wide choice of dishes complemented by an extensive wine list. The quality was... More

I came here with my friend to have a dinner. We were sat downstairs in a cold dim-lighted hallway for our meal. I had the slow-cooked spiced lamb shoulder, Puy lentils, baba ganoush and pistachios which was incredible. This saved the entire meal. It was tasty and well cooked. I then had the pan-roasted stuffed guinea-fowl breast, sautéed potatoes, buttered... More

I am really sorry that you were so disappointed on your recent visit. I'm glad you enjoyed the lamb starter. The guinea-fowl dish has been really popular & I had a recent email saying the parfait was the best pudding someone had ever had!! I can only imagine that for some reason on this occasion the dishes weren't up to... More

My Girlfriend and I booked here for a midweek meal and were not disappointed. We arrived and order a drink at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready. They have a nice selection of wines on offer. After a short wait we were shown to our table and supplied with the menus. There is a good selection... More
