When the food arrived it was poor, the fries being under cooked and the Ribeye steak having no flavour and was extremley tough to eat, the mix grill was nothing to write home about. The service wasn't very good either we had to ask a member of staff to clear the table as we wanted to order some desserts. Whilst... More

We dine here regularly. Can't fault it at all. Lovely carvery. We also went for Christmas day lunch. And we have booked again for this Christmas. Great service to boot!

My in-laws live nearby and suggested that we go there one evening for dinner as their carvery is only £9 per plate, and the drinks aren't excessively priced either. Honestly, it's absolutely gorgeous! The plates aren't huge, so you have to be good at piling it up (it's not all you can eat, just one plate) to make sure you... More

As this pub is so local to us we have eaten here numerous times over the years and never had a bad meal. The Carvery is always good, the food is reasonably priced, staff are friendly, although I've marked it as average, to me it's good but not quite "very good"

Lovely family run business, a bit more upper class than your average pub which we enjoyed. Carvery is such good quality we often come of an evening to have it again and again. Also brought friends to try the main menu which we also enjoyed, would just love a bit more variety! Very friendly staff, reasonable prices, great atmosphere and... More

After hearing rants n raves about how good the Red lion food was, we decided to call in after a day out in Lincoln, With high expectations we entered the pub.On arrival we were told that there were no real ales on as there was a problem with the celler, offered John Smiths,I would rather drink the dish water, I'm... This place seems popular with locals and further afield. The carvery is very well received but the fish we had seemed to be frozen. Puddings very tasty.

I live locally to the Red Lion, Drayton but have not used if for several years. Have visited twice in the last few days and each time I have been amazed at the quality (and choice) of food and the extraordinary value for money it provides. It is so warm and welcoming - whether you just want a drink, and... More

We had a lovely meal, I phoned on Thursday to make a booking for seven people for Friday evening then phoned on Friday to add two more people. It was not a problem. We arrived at 17:30. The girl that greeted us was very polite and showed us to our seats and served us very well, remembering all our orders,... More
