I ate here as I was unfortunately staying the Best Western hotel attached. However this restaurant was the only saving grace! The staff were brilliant and friendly and the food was great!!! Everything tasted very fresh and there were great options for vegetarians rather than the usual boring choices! The atmosphere is a little lacking but this by no means... More

Having broken down in the car here, we had an excellent lunch in a lovely atmosphere. we were looked after by Lucy who was so friendly and welcoming. She is new here but has such a good approach, always smiling, friendly and willing and will be an asset to this hotel/restaurant. Julia too was friendly and informative. The soup was... More

Second time in Norwich but first time in this restaurant. Good food, big portion and nice staff. Clean and safe. Not so busy on Wednesdays in January, so quick and correct service.

We used this a lot on our taste card last year. Service okay a bit traditional and stuffy although with quiet charm. Steaks and sausages all good, fish nicely cooked. Specials do not change much, and was only really good value with a tastecard. In our view charming in an old school kind of way and needs updating to be... More

At least it was clean. Practically empty on a Friday night. We all left part of our meal. Wine delivered and left to pour it yourself. Every question seemed like a bit of an effort really, how hard can a wheat free roll be? We were asked how our meal was after 30mins, and decided to pay on the way... More

Description
Located inside The George Hotel in Norwich, The Arlington Grill and Brasserie breathes a relaxed and friendly atmosphere catering to both residents and non residents alike, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant has a contemporary decor, complete with wooden floors and wood panelled walls, tan leather banquettes, and the kitchen has been awarded an AA rosette for its superb gourmet grill menu. Located on Newmarket Road, the Arlington Grill provides a perfect environment for entertaining clients or for romantic tete-a-tetes, and we highly recommend the salmon and chilli fishcakes with a citrus mayonnaise; the venison steak with a celeriac mash and a rich port wine sauce; and the baked lemon cheese cake for pudding.
