We have visited on a regular basis & this time will be our last. The place itself is looking tired, scones were not homemade & hardly any cakes available on a Saturday afternoon. Very disappointing

Sandwich advertised as on a ‘white bloomer’ and came looking like this - for nearly £5 I’m sure anyone would have been disappointed to be presented with this. Even just a bit of coleslaw and salad would have made it a bit more bearable. Only...More

Lovely friendly, ‘quaint’ tea room. Food was made fresh to order and properly brood tea. Homemade cakes were really nice. It is great to have an alternative to the usual coffee houses that are taking over the world.

My daughter and I are regular visitors to this cafe and the food and the service are always excellent, however the cafe is often cold and would definitely benefit from turning on the heating.

We used to visit most weekends as we love the cake and tea. It was one of our favourite places, especially in Middlesbrough. Unfortunately it seems to be shut most weekends or part thereof for 'private' parties. This has put us off going now as...More

Went here with 2 friends and two people out of three ordered afternoon tea. Unfortunately, they weren't able to use the unlimited drinks stated on the menu, due to the third person not ordering the afternoon tea. The staff specified that this was because they...More
