Is this place a wine bar with a very, very old and cramped basement, or a small museum of the Old London wine bar scene, that serves wine and food with it? According to how the customer sees it, satisfaction can go from 1 to...More

We visited Gordon’s wine bar on a friends recommendation, and we were not disappointed on any level. The bar man was very helpful and extremely pleasant. The cheese platter was delightful. The ambience, lighting decor etc is very cosy. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Everything is great here: the design, made in the old English style, the wine (I loved the sparkling wine and the wide variety of super tasty cheeses).

Perfect little stop for wine, cheese and charcuterie. The tables outside allow for anyone to sit, mingle and relax. The server also helped us in picking the local cheeses. Highly recommend.
