Patrick is the best bartender. He’s the man, hooks it up, and makes the bar experience amazing. Liana is also fantastic, ask for her, and you’ll have an unbelievable time!

I stumbled upon this one early-ish on a weekday. I had just arrived and wanted a good lunch and a pint. Because this pub seems to be hiding from the world, it was empty. Something I'm not used to with pubs at lunchtimes. Very cozy...More

We went to the Britannia Pub in Kensington’s Allen Street just off Kensington High Street for a Saturday lunchtime drink. We had been recommended to go there, especially as the sun was out for the first time in an eternity and we were promised a...More

A great pub to go and enjoy a few drinks with your friends or have a nice meal. The atmosphere is really nice and everyone that works there are absolutely brilliant, especially Liana who made our visit extra special with her kind and courteous attitude....More

Ordered three burgers for dinner, with only a few tables occupied in the place. Checked after 40 minutes and the waitress apologised on behalf of the kitchen that the burgers were ‘burned’ and all had to be started again. Checked with waitress after another half...More

The most miserable dish I've had the misfortune to be served in a long time. It was 95% pearl barley, a few small carrot cubes, no sauce, and a mashed potato lid. Dry and completely flavourless. How could you let that out of the kitchen?

For our last night in London, we were looking for a more traditional pub, without the greasy pub food. The Britannia was highly recommended by the concierge so we made reservations for that evening. We arrived around 8pm and the pub was packed and loud....More

Me and my father went here every day during our visit to London (three days). The staff was really friendly and the hamburger was amazing. If I come back to London I'll surely make a visit again!

Best Fish&Chips ever in my life. Size is like a shark and tartar sauce is so delicious. Prices are acceptable mainly in Kensington. Excellent service: Please keep it up!

Visited The Britannia end of February. The pub itself is wonderfully presented and is a little gem hidden of the busy high street. The pub was quiet when we visited but we still had a considerable long wait for drinks and it was made worse...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
