We are black tier members at Harrods so spend a great deal of time there. On sunny days it is too tempting to sit outside and enjoy the weather over lunch at Laduree. But every time we do we regret it instantly! The waiters are always incapable of remembering orders and mess up without fail. We ordered a starter to... More

For the price of a regular breakfast in any tourist hotel, Ladurée offers you the best of the best: jam, bread, tea, viennoiseries (that is "danish"), in an elegant atmosphere.

Stopped off here to fuel up before a busy shopping day. Hardly loaded but didn't feel out of place in this place. Staff were excellent and attentive and our 8 year old was well attended to. The scrambled eggs, French toast and hot chocolate were very tasty and good value for money. Didn't buy any macarons but they did look... More

Its difficult to replicate a French Institution anywhere but France. Laduree Harrods falls flat on its face. The outside patio is disgusting. Facing the taxi rank surrounded by cigarette butts. Replicated patiserrie. Disappointed.

When this Parisian favorite came to Knightsbridge—Harrods, to be exact—the city went ga-ga for Gallic. To this day, the macaroons, which are offered in colors that could inspire the Crayola company, unfailingly draw crowds. There are delightful breakfasts on offer too in this French tearoom-style dining room. It's a great shopping stop. I bring a box of multi-colored goodies to... More

I've been to all the London stores, and I can't find much between them in terms of food. I love the macarons, salted caramel and raspberry particularly. I tried the rose this time. It was quite like licking perfume. Not totally unpleasant, but not for me.

If you love Laduree and you love Harrods, get yourself here! All the usual lovelies you expect from Laduree, their macarons are still some of the best of all I've tried (and I've tried quite a few now). Staff here were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again next time I come to London.

I am a regular customer at Laduree, both at Harrods and Covent Garden. Good things in both branches: Some laduree signatures like french toast (amazing!), sugar brioche, plasir sacre and raspberry tart. Tea & Coffee. Bad things in both branches: Water glasses always stained and at the best very smelly (you'll become very sick if you smell them). Some dishes... More

The macarons here are amazing, but be careful on selecting your flavors as they do taste EXACTLY as described so rum tastes just like a shot of rum, not like a sweet delicious rum cake, the rose tastes just like rose. This isn't a bad thing, just a warning as I definitely got caught on a few so be careful... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
