The fact that my somewhat dubious partner enjoyed the food is testament to just how tasty it was. Natalie was a wonderful hostess, apparently filling in her sister, Zoe; The kitchen was literally staffed by her and one other, and what a feast they served...More

We went to Zoe's Ghana Kitchen at Institute of Light. Great food (try the chicken strips!) and really nice service (shout out to Natalie, who was great). Will definitely come again. Check out institute of light too - it's a hidden gem!

Had a great time at Zoe's Ghana Kitchen pop-up at the Institute of Lights. The peanut sauce is amazing and service from Natalie was super helpful.

Description
Zoe Adjonyoh, prominent popup chef and founder of Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen, has opened her first fixed restaurant space in a continuing mission to make Ghanaian food accessible to a wider audience. Zoe’s cosy new restaurant offers a selection of her most popular dishes showcasing her contemporary twist on traditional Ghanaian flavours introduced to her by her Ghanaian father growing up. You can sample Zoe's famous spicy peanut sauce with Lamb Cutlets, slow cooked veggie bean stew (Red Red) and the irresistible Jollof Spiced Fried Chicken which has taken Brixton by storm along with the Ghanaian staples of Jollof Rice - Caramelised Chunky Plantain Chips and weekly specials that give a real taste of home cooked Ghanaian food. Zoe first took the London street food scene by storm five years ago, when her homespun adaptation of West African groundnut stew became a sell-out success at Hackney Wicked Arts Festival. A well-established popup chef, Zoe has since served her widely-acclaimed modern interpretation of classic Ghanaian flavours at supperclubs, residencies with event catering and festivals right across the UK and Europe. Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen is not just a restaurant - it’s a food event: creating a look and feel from its Ghanaian roots that merges with a contemporary dining experience. Always relaxed, always fun, always tasty! We're open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
