Excellent food, plenty of it too, service was a bit slow we were there at lunchtime. I know people have complained of the £2 per person service charge but in my view don't leave a tip??? The staff were a bit stand offish but it didn't put us off the food we had, we enjoyed everything the portion size is... More

Having been to Maroush on Edgware Road previously we thought after skating at natural history museum this would be perfect. How wrong where we,5 of us where crammed in to a part of the restaurant I can only describe as like sitting in a cafe,I have no issues with cafes but not when I am out with family expecting a bit... I had been to Maroush before, at a different location, last year while in London and enjoyed it very much, but this time was different. Firstly, the staff were not very friendly or welcoming, which always puts a bad taste in my mouth before I have even eaten..... After we had ordered, we were served a plate that consisted of... We try to tailor a visit to,London around eating here at least once. Have had breakfast, lunch and dinners- all equally good. A short walk from The Victoria and Albert museum and Knightsbridge shops . Others in the group also excellent. Typical Lebanese friendly service, generous portions and reasonable prices. Wish you would open in Bridport- we don't have any... More

We picked this restaurant for dinner after an afternoon walk past, I went into the upstairs restaurant to book a table. On arrival for dinner, I was greeted by name and shown straight to our table. The meal is inclusive of a large salad, flat bread and fruit / pastries The service was attentive throughout without being oppressive and the... More

We have never eaten in a Lebanese restaurant before ... and wow what a great place to start! We ate in the restaurant upstairs, they fitted us in even though we hadn't booked. We were greeted and served by Chadi (manager) he was very attentive and explained the various dishes to us. Very generous portions and great flavours. There was... More

We went to this with a friend with Lebanese and Armenian heritage who loves her food. She liked it a lot and said she would go again when next in London. The mezzes were excellent in our set meal for four and we might perhaps have stopped before the main course, which is often the way with eastern Med food.

Visited with colleagues for a business celebratory dinner. Staff were indifferent. Food mediocre to bad. Expensive. The worst dish was the lamb with yoghurt, which turned out to be a warm yoghurt soup with pieces of lamb swimming in it. It was very salty. I alerted the staff but they weren't bothered. Would not recommend this restaurant.

We were in London for the weekend and wanted somewhere near the Royal Albert Hall that was a bit different. Never tried Lebanese before so gave it a go. There were 5 of us and all ordered one hot and one cold starter a couple of bottles of wine and water. The food was extremely fresh, tasty and served by... More

I've been a regular for over 20 years now and in a city as diverse as London is this still remains one of the best Lebanese restaurants around. I love their Sishtawooq Wraps their chicken wings and fatuous salad. I especially crave Maroush's garlic Sauce which is the absolute best I've had in London by far.

Thank E A

Beauchamp Place is easily the busiest of the Maroush outlets, proving equally popular every season of the year. Open from noon until 5am every day of the week, the busiest time of day at Maroush Beauchamp Place is - believe it or not - 10pm to 3am, particularly at the weekends. A popular post-clubbing location, with three floors, Maroush Beauchamp Place is also known for being an after-hours celebrity hot spot. Don't let its' late-night reputation fool you though; during lunch and dinner times this restaurant - particularly the fine dining area on the first floor - attracts business people and couples in equal measure.Open noon to 5am, 7 days a week.A £2 cover charge applies on the top floor only of the restaurant.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
