I normally come at Spicy Basil quite often. The pad Thai is just amazing. The fish cake delicious and the fresh juices super tasty.

We ordered 2 pad thai's from the restaurant with two people picking up the order (one being myself and the other picking up the second). The order was £5.50 and I gave her £10.50 to get £5 note back. The woman behind the counter distracted me with the conversation about the other person picking up the order and she didn't... More

Not very good help. but nice food, good portions. Small space for the people so we had to sat down next to a stranger to enjoy our meal. Tasty food

Best thai food i've eaten in a long time...ofcourse the restaurant doesn't look nice, but you pay for what you get and if you're there for the food you'll be pleased with the quality and quantity of the food and how much you pay for it

Firstly the service is pretty poor. They employ very cheap labour and as a result they aren't very bright nor speak adequate English. The place itself is very dirty and off-putting. I have seen small mice running around but don't let that put you off. The food is very average. It used to be amazing a few years ago however... More

I love that this place is local - it's great authentic delicious Thai At a very reasonable c£5.50 per main. I am very boring and always have the cashew chicken and pad Thai. If I'm feeling extravagant I get the super yummy money bags which I can't help but wolf down. The dining room is loud and busy so we... More

We live locally to spicy basil and love their food, we ordered a takeaway as had some friends round. 2 of the portions of pad Thai were not delivered, we didn't notice this till we had eaten our starters. After 2 hours of phone calls between myself and Mo, where he accused me of lying I finally managed to speak... More

Best thai for the best price ever in London! It can even compete with the more expensive restaurants in therms of food quality. Yes its not the best looking restaurant and can be a bit tight on space but it does deliver good food. We go there every once in a while to satisfy our thai food need. Delicious!
