Having read so much about this café on the precious reviews I am bemused. The coffee is really not good at all. Very casual laid back staff that need a lesson in customer service.

Cute coffee/deli found right outside Brockley overground station. Seating outdoors for a perfect sun chilled afternoon, indoors as well with cute little spots to hide yourself into. Staff are a little alternative and super friendly! The food is good, really nice coffees. Perfect for a relaxing coffee with friends or if you need healthy supplies for home they have a... More

I had to get off the London Overground at Bromley and was fortunate to find this little coffee shop opposite the entrance to the station. Its on the OUT of London track side where the main platform gates and ticket office is located. The staff are very very friendly and make an exceptionally good latte. They also seem to stock... Chock full of hard, hideous, uncomfortable furniture and the most ghastly, ugly bricabrac you ever saw. Even if you like retro, this battered junk will offend your taste. The staff are ultra laid back, which means you can nurse a coffee for hours without being bothered by them. But equally they are not concerned about the sticky tables and stains... More

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Really really good coffee. An array of delicious treats including tasty gluten free options. Support the indie coffee shops.

This little coffee shop is opposite Brockley station. There is range is teas, coffees and snacks, plus a small deli. It does takeaway too. The distinctive features of this venue revolve around the quirky and eclectic layout, décor and furniture (and staff perhaps). This aspect, plus good music in the background, makes for a relaxing break in the day.

I had a double espresso and a piece of homemade chocolate cake! The coffee was amazing and the chocolate cake was one of the best I had in years! The lady who served me could have been a little more welcoming though.

Coffee was good and GF options are very welcome, but not as tasty as GF crumble in wetherspoons just mere steps away. Hubs had some chocolate cake and was not impressed, that wasn't a GF option. Today we got some organic eggs for £1, which is a bargain, hopefully the yolks will be bright orange. I also like selection of... More

Excellent coffee, good prices. Pastries looked delicious and the interior is quirky and fun, with a take one leave one library.

I always look forward to visiting The Broca. The coffee is very good, I like it strong so I usually ask for an extra shot. I like that they give you a choice of size as sometimes I feel like a bucket of cappuccino and occasionally a little Americano. You also get to pick sizes in between which I am... More
