Just stopped on the way past and was rewarded with a great dinner. Really tasty Turkish food, good value and very decent portion size. Too full for a dessert after street and main but did manage to eat the little complimentary pud :-)

Good restaurant for a tasty lunch. Atmosphere is nothing special. Service is OK Specialty is the home made schiacciata with different type of filling.

I lived in the area for two months and this restaurant was one of the absolute favourites for my boyfriend and me. Breakfast is tasty and authentic. We tried alsmost all sorts of menemen and all of them were good in their own ways, best if you combine them with the traditional Turkish pancake. The main dishes are also really... More

.....when all around is beardyland it's good to find a real Turkish bar with good food, good service and good beer. Sit outside and watch them hipsters on their way to the launch of an online magazine about shoes, an art private view which includes tea in jam jars or even a pop up night spot where everyone dresses like... I went there with my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago. For starters I've had meat balls and my partner had halumi salad and calamari which all hit the mark of my expectations. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the mains. She had a chicken Kiev which was just a piece of chicken's breast coated and some garlic on... More

I work around the corner. I don't come here often but occasionally mainly in summer for a Turkish breakfast which is very good. You can sit outside, coffee is good, juice is fresh and the food is great and you can watch the good people of Dalston go about their business!

The turkish pancakes here are great but everything else is pretty rubbish. The menemen (Turkish style scrambled eggs) have absolutely nothing on red art next door, the same can be said about the omlete which was not horrible but wholly disappointing compared to the delicious omletes served next door. I only visit this restaurant because a stuborn friend doesn't like... More

Evin Cafe on Kingsland High Road is a good spot for those living locally visiting the market or small shopping centre. There are a couple of med type places up and down the street, but this duals good solid breakfast offerings as well as the more traditional style Turkish/Med fare. The ground floor cafe has a small outside terrace, but... More
