If you look for a place to spend some hours in the country house or outdoor in its nice yard having several beer and a good roast in a simple, basic, friendly environment, go for it. Anything else as service, cleaning, other food, etc. is far below average.

Located next to Hampstead Heath you feel like you are in the country side without actually having to leave London. (Belsize Park or Hampstead tube stations are the most convenient). The Pub itself is superb! Excellent decoration with an excellent menu to satisfy all tastes! The big plus is the large garden where BBQ is served on Sundays weather permitting.... More

Been here a couple of times now and each time enjoyed the vibe and the garden area Would have loved to award 4 points but the food is just average on taste They also have a nice downstairs area which can be booked for parties

Went with my husband and baby midweek. Was a great place to chill out and have some lunch outdoors to enjoy much needed sunshine. Food was ok - ordered chicken bacon avocado salad and chicken was a bit dry and lacked dressing too.

This is my third review of this pub in as many years and each time it gets worse. Poor food, disinterested and disorganised service. It is remarkable it survives. On merit it oughtn't to. If only this pub fell into the right hands it could be amazing. What a location, what a property, what a waste.

A very popular pleasant and delicious pub in Hampstead, just off Hampstead Heath. Great menu selection, delicious food and fabulous Sunday roast. Ample outside seating perfect for a summer day. Decent prices, but quite busy. I will be returning.

Nice atmosphere, and good location If going for a drink in the garden then worthwhile, however would avoid eating at restaurant. Poor food quality, really disappointing, ribeye stake (Med/Rare), was dry and chewy. Deep fried food, drenched in butter and more oil - honestly just poor cooking. Drinks were fine, as you'd expect at a bar. Price is reasonable -... More

Lovely day, lovely location, then it started to go downhill, first I was given a pint of very cloudy beer, then the hot starter was at best warm. The wife's mains was advertised as chicken avocado salad but came minus the avocado. We complained and a slice arrived. We cancelled the desert. It could be lovely but it needs motivated... More
