Arrived on a bit of a whim for a quick dinner and was blown away by the quality of the steak - my only regret was not having a bigger cut! Really good find and reasonable too.

This is a quite nice one. It looks like a canteen, it is always busy and loud(with Portuguese football on TV all the times), most of the waiters understand some english(some do not at all), the service is rather fast but not up to any standards. It would seem like not a winner, but it is. They have the best... More

Always wanted to try Portuguese cuisines. Portuguese are well known for their sea food and especially the BACALHAU. Bacalhau is the Portuguese word for cod. Dried and salted cod. There are said to be over 1000 Bacalhau recipes in Portugal alone and it can be considered the iconic ingredient of Portuguese cuisine. Went there for my birth day with friends... More

I visited with a friend as we were in London and the restaurant is a short bus ride from Trafalgar Square. This was my fourth lunchtime visit, and although not packed by any means, the place had a reasonable number of diners. We enjoyed bread and pate and olives before deciding to go for a fish stew for two which... More

Was my first time there. My Portuguese friend invited me stating it was traditional food. Lots of Portuguese customers were dining there that evening , it means the food must be authentic. The ambience was casual , menu extensive. Unfortunately, what I was disappointed with was the fact there was NO vegetarian dishes. Except soup and green salad, No other... More

We dined there last night, my wife and I and our two boys. We've been before as we love Portuguese cuisine and the boys are meat mad.My wife loves octopus so we ordered the octopus salad.Sadly it had,for some reason, been heated and didn't taste right so it had to go back. The staff were very good about that and offered a replacement,which... Simply amazing! I closed my eyes and I dreamed to be again in Porto. Bacalhau Lagareiro wonderful with a glass of vinho verde from Muralhas de Moncao... after 7 months my sweetheart is again seeing the sun in London thanks to you. The staff is so warm that I felt to be at home. For me and Telma this is... More

Met a few friends for lunch at A Toca, heard good things about this Portuguese restaurant so I was looking forward to our meal. I had the Brazilian Picanha (steak). It was very delicious and the portion was very large. Succulent steak well seasoned with rice, fries and salad. Real food and tasted homemade. 👍🏼

I eat here every two weeks. I highly recommend this place. Fish and meat are excellent. I hope this place will always be in London.
