The starters and mains were very good - fresh and the portions were large. My salmon was beautifully cooked. The restaurant has a nice buzz - it is just off Oxford Street and it has beautiful Turkish lamps and pictures. We were a big party of around 25 celebrating an anniversary so getting orders out at the same time was... More

From the starter to the dessert, all the courses were really tasty. The house wine is also very good and the service is good. Prices are really acceptable for the quality of the food and service.

My Turkish friend took me here for an intimate birthday dinner. We ordered lots of little starters from the cucumber yogurt dip to the Turkish sausage, to hummus (with bits of lamb on top- so good!). We even got this lovely inflated bread to share. For the main we had a mixed grill with rice, salad and potatoes. For dessert,... More

Been here twice now and the lamachun alone makes it worth going again. Delicious, flavoursome and a decent size for the price. The restaurant is small, and from how the waiters were tooing and froing next door, it looks like it is sister restaurant to the adjacent Italian. The decor inside is lovely and has a Turkish harem feel to... More

We visited the Grand Bazaar on a whim not having TripAdvisored it. We sat outside. It is not a very busy street so it is nice to watch London go by. The food was excellent and the service is very friendly and not rushed. Would definitely recommend this. Thank you Grand Bazaar.

Had scampi for starters that was nicely done, and a mixed grill with rice for main. My main was tasty and filling, it wasn't a wow but it was satisfying. I think the main needs to come with a sauce as I had to take my girlfriends sour cream, which added a nice touch to my meal. I also ordered... More

Eleven of us descended on the Grand Bazaar for a family reunion. We chose this restaurant for its location and because it seemed to work for larger groups but we had no great expectations regarding the quality of the food. We resisted the 'button popper' set meal and had the 'grand' menu which consisted of assorted starters and desserts with... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
