It just does no get better than eating here, I have been eating here over 35 years and it does not change still great food, service and atmosphere. We had great food all immaculately prepared and the attention to detail was perfect as always. Please don't follow my advice and go as it needs to remain a secret.

Dined here with a group after the London Marathon. Service was good and food was delicious. My husband ordered Lasagna which he said was good, but my spaghetti carbonara was the absolute best! It was so good! Would definitely recommend that dish. Enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere.

Just around the corner from Harrods, this Italian restaurant is a bit of an institution with its maitre'd treating us like a long lost friend. It's a buzzy place with Italian charm, and clearly attracts the odd celebrity - we had John Cleese sat on the table next to us which provided an interesting point of discussion. As for the... More

Sale e Pepe has been around for ever and it's one of those 'go to' Italians which haven't changed in decades. Maybe this was just an off evening but being packed into a corner table where the diner behind you elbows you every time he takes a bite, and two long hours to be served two courses feels like endurance... Noisy and busy. Food reasonably good but I found my spinach contained a staple and the waiter was not interested.

Went here with my girlfriend for dinner, didn't regret it for one second. We had a mix seafood platter for starters, seriously yummy and then pasta seafood...all the classical ingredients, but with a delicate modern twist. Price/quality, and looking for something different yet spot on? Book here and you won't regret it...I had the fortune of booking online and getting... More

We didn't arrive until 10:30pm but we were given a warm welcome. The bar staff looked after us whilst our table was prepared and the menu had a wide range of authentic Italian dishes. We had chicken livers, homemade minestrone followed by minute steak and a chicken dish. All were speedily delivered by friendly knowledgeable staff. Thank you

The service and food here were good, nothing amazing but enjoyable Italian food and wine. Before our meal the young server brought over a bread basket and asked if we wanted a piece and which kind. We picked a small piece each (about 3 inches of bread). Then, our bill had a random "bread and butter" charge on it. NO... More

I went there for a romantic meal with my wife. The food was great and the waiters there were very friendly. The food was so good that we ordered 4 starters between us. The waiters there are very loud but quit entertaining. Don't worry if you hear shouting and noise coming from the kitchen. A great place for a romantic... More
