Tasty lunch - very good steak and also really enjoyed the variety of sides. Pre chop bites were great and nice that they use food waste to make them. Really quality service - waiter (think Phil) was a very warm host, helped with choices and...spent time to give recommendations etc. gave us a sauce to try for free as we’d enquired about what it was, offered to try different wines before selecting etc. Will definitely return!More

A good evening spent, in a good atmosphere, really good food and drink and a great overall experience. Waiter was excellent with allergies, and drinks were good, even off menu. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch as a party of three. The place was packed with a lively atmosphere. Service was excellent throughout, especially from our waitress Aida. In addition to the food can recommend their very reasonably priced cocktails. The Cull Yaw crumpet (shredded...lamb) with gravy was a delicious starter as were the mushrooms on toast. For the main course we shared an all in of beef, lamb and pork with all the trimmings and wonderful rich gravy. It was a large portion and all the meat was delicious with lovely pink beef and lamb, tasty pork crackling, excellent roast potatoes and plenty of vegetables. They were happy to bring additional gravy on request. We were too full for dessert so they gave us 3 limoncello’s on the house as it was one of our groups birthday. Can thoroughly recommendMore

Massively disappointing. It’s so hard to find a decent roast dinner. I was really excited to try this place because of the boat about being almost as good as your Mums! Nowhere near it! The first mistake came when my partner ordered a pint of...orange juice & lemonade. The waiter to be sure double checked was that orange juice and lemonade combined in one glass. Yes. So then he comes back 10 minutes later with a glass of orange juice & a glass of lemonade not combined! We ordered roast beef. It arrived without gravy and we waited for what seemed a very long time with our meals in front of us. A tiny jug of gravy eventually arrived. The food was lukewarm at best. Potatoes were hard as stone. I couldn’t even get a knife through them! My partner told the waiter he wasn’t happy with it being cold so the waiter insisted on getting another one. I assumed he meant a whole new meal but he came back nearly 10 minutes later with 3 slices of beef on a side plate! My partner was extremely unhappy and told them to take it all away. I finished mine because I was hungry and knew we had a show to go to so no time to go somewhere else! The lady who I am assuming was the manager came over and asked if there was anything else they could do to which we said no we’ll just have the bill. She said it was all on the house and apologised. So we left very disappointed. We won’t be back!More

The roast dinner is the best in london, I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. The food, the service, especially the staff member called Aida, who was servicing our table for the night, she was so friendly, funny and was really on...point in making sure we had a great time. Defiantly will be back!More

Amazing service, very accommodating of dietary needs (AIP) and the pork was great even without gravy. Will recommend and looking forward to returning for the sweet potatoes!

Thursday, February 1st, 2024 reservation for 3pm 12:00pm $194.84 I found this venue from the States and while in Amsterdam 3 different Brits said it was a must do so I made a reservation for noon lunch upon arrival to London, England. The venue had...a cool vibe, the service provided by Ida was top notch, there were brilliant Brazilians grilling all the meat choices from our entree the All In One (customized for 3 instead of 2) with 3 sides plus drinks handcrafted by a gifted man from Spain and the dessert from the war with a scoop of ice cream was spoon licking bowl scrapping good. We had a lovely experience and everything was flawless from start to finish. Bravo to the chef, staff and management as you exceed your reputation.More

Not the greatest of starts, being asked to wait outside in what was literally the freezing cold - I arrived a few minutes before the restaurant opened at 12pm on 20.1.24. .There was seemingly no notification from restaurant staff that the place had opened so...I just went back down the stairs at twelve. From then on things improved. Service was reasonably attentive and the starter of mushrooms on toast was quite excellent with a beautiful sauce. There was a longish wait for the main, however it was lovely. Cuts of beef, lamb and pork served with a rich flavoursome gravy. The chips had salt and vinegar within the skin - a clever touch. The chocolate cheesecake to finish was exceptional. Food A+,. Value for money A+. Considering the welcome and overall service and general delivery, could do better, so a C+. Overall a B+ or four stars.More

Went here after hunting for somewhere near Piccadilly theatre for a birthday outing to Moulin Rouge. Positive reviews here and on Google so booked it for 5:30 for a 7:30 show. Down the steps, and shown to our table. It's not that big in there...and was full with a good buzz. A bottle of tap water was placed on the table at the same time as the menus, whilst one of the staff walked us through the menu. Thats always a good thing. We chose the All In, which was a good choice and we liked the little amuse bouche / starter bombes. When the main course arrived it was very impressive and a meat lovers delight! The chips were fine and perhaps the only thing in our entire experience which didn't delight was the kale and parmesan side was basically uncooked curly kale with grated parmesan on. It didn't work for us and had it been wilted a bit would have been better. we had put that it was a birthday on the booking and this triggered two things... One of which was particularly nice. My wife and I were discussing whether to have a starter as well as the all in and the wife was "it's unnecessary", but I wanted to share a mushroom on sourdough anyway. We decided not to order this, but the waitress (Paulina) had been taking our order whilst we were discussing should we/shouldn't we, and added it to our order as a complementary starter course. What a fantastic gesture, and really appreciated it. Lovely bread and butter pudding followed and we were done. Fantastic meal, great service (thank you Paulina), by staff who seem to be enjoying themselves as much as you can do at work (!), and less than 5 mins to Piccadilly theatre.More

I wanted to do a Sunday roast while in London, and after lots of research I chose Blacklock as the place to go. The meal was reasonably priced and included roast, veggies, potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and the best gravy ever. The service was great and...I really enjoyed the ambiance of the Soho location, as it was under ground and felt like eating in an old tavern. If you are looking for a place for a good Sunday roast, I would recommend Blacklock!More

One of the more surprising / best meals I've had in a while. Great prices and the flavour of each of their dishes is sublime. Loved it! Service was mixed but when you're paying £20 for a 55 old ribeye so be it!

Hello, I am really not sure. It was Monday when I visited this place and I didn't see the menu. My friend ordered for us. I am sorry for not helping you a lot. But the food is really good, if you are a fan of meat. Have fun!
