A great fuel stop and good value for money. Great service and quick too. Considering it's location, the prices are good value for money too.

After not knowing where to eat we popped into Giraffe, the menu has something for everyone so even fussy eaters will be happy. The staff are lovely and friendly, offering suggestions when you're not sure. It wasn't too busy for a Friday evening so we were sat down straight away. This place is great if you're looking for an easy... More

We received great service and very good food. The food prices were very reasonable for London and the prices for beer were average.

A Sunday..brunch time and came across this chain which still manages not to be too plastic... Friendly and attentive waitress made sure we enjoyed our meal... Absolutely packed after midday...the ice cream was excellent and finished off our meal soundly.

Outdoor seating was great. My salad was bland. My mojito was bland. But the Mediterranean dish my daughter ordered was very tasty. Huh? It's hit or miss here.

Loved the chicken katsu. House wine is lovely too. Not bad for a view of the Thames and the ambience of the Southwark.

We had travelled into London from just outside and were starving as our hotel was a room only basis. We walked a little while and decided to eat here. We sat in a booth type seating area, really comfy and ordered breakfast. We had eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato and toast, as well as fruit juices, tea and coffee. It was... More

Met some friends (one slightly disabled after a stroke) for lunch on one of the hottest days of the year at this restaurant. It was teeming with people and children but 5 of us did get a table inside out of the sun though wondered whether we would still be there at supper time because of numbers. I needn't have... More

Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
