Spontaneous decision to stop by for a meal. Staff were very friendly and immediately showed us to a table of our choice and showed us the Sunday set menu which for 3 courses for £33 in London is a bargain. Bread and butter included and...More
Great light room with views across London roofs to Trafalgar Square. Food was lovely, fresh, modern British. All beautifully presented. Vibrant colours and nice portions - not too much, but not stingy. Scallop was maybe 2 seconds underdone. We did not feel rushed despite time...More
We looked high and low for "the place" to have Tea. After several reviews recommending the Portrait Restaurant we booked for 5 there. First we were early so decided to look around the Portrait Gallery (keep in mind my 12 year old daughter is with...More
Fine dining (simple menu but with very taste and fresh food!), served in a clean venue with amazing view over London and with great and professional staff.
A must-go at least once when passing through London :)

With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to
these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
