Came here as part of a day trip and theatre break with a friend for her birthday. We stumbled upon this and what a find! The waiters were attentive but not pushy and the menu was varied with reasonable price for the quality and the area. We had bellinis and steak ciabatta and fries and all were beautifully presented and... More

Booked by my husband for dinner after the theatre, we ended up near the open window,, which was lovely today, as first table had air conditioning unit above it that was dripping water on my husbands head. Food lovely and freshly cooked, too much couscous for my main i couldn't finish it. Only thing i didn't like was you had... More

Very friendly, courteous, welcoming staff. We were grateful for the air conditioning on a warm evening. Our waiter could hardly have been better, serving us with charm, patience and humour. Everything we ate was delicious, from start to finish - service was prompt. Would have no hesitation on recommending the Boulevard Brasserie and returning, especially with an Opentable deal on... We stopped here for some drinks and to decide on to eat at this place. We grabbed some drinks, when finally we got someone to take our order, and sat outside which was a good spot to people watch and relax. The service was poor, 3 times we had to go find a waiter to take our order, hence why... More

We booked the special £23 per head inc a kir. I was not expecting a great deal and was very pleasantly surprised. We had a choice of three starters, grilled goats cheese was light and fluffy and hot. Terrine was smooth and tasty. Sea bass fillet was generous and moist, as was the salmon fillet. Very nice Cree brûlée ,... More

The restaurant had a fine atmosphere, very authetic not a chain. Staff very friendly too. Good value for London. The cognac heated with a cover on to keep the heat in . Superb .... More

I had about 3 phone calls from them to confirm my booking which tads on the nuisance, I also received an email to say we'd have the table for 2 hours during busy periods which was fine. However, after we had eaten and asked for additional drinks we were brought our bill and told our table was needed in 10... More

I visited the place with my friends. Onion soup was very good. Mains were very average. Lamb wasn't really hot the rest was ok. Desserts were also average but we didn't like chocolate tart. It was very insipid. Should be with ice cream instead of cream which wasn't nice at all. Other desserts just ok. Service was very stiff and... More

Up to West End to meet friends: in a quandary, since we wanted somewhere reasonably-priced within walking distance of the Strand, and our 2 favourite restaurants in this area have both closed (massive rent/rates hikes??). After reading favourable reviews, we opted for this. Poor decision? Meal good but far from exceptional. Waiters pleasant, but seemed to lack commitment. My fillet... More

Description
Boulevard Brasserie, one of Covent Garden's iconic fixtures, situated on the Opera Quarter on Wellington Street, has recently completed a refurbishment. A typical French brasserie with a menu featuring classic, uncomplicated French cuisine to include bouef bourguignon, moules mariniere, steak frites and delicious tartines. Set over two floors, it is a bustling place where you can comfortably dine on your own, with friends and family or enjoy a more convivial occasion in a larger group. Simple cooking with good ingredients in an informal atmosphere - a French brasserie at its most authentic. A new feature to Boulevard Brasserie is the Boulevard Cellars - a cosy and intimate wine bar offering a wide range of delicious regional French wines and Champagne, a good selection French cheeses and charcuterie plates to complement all tastes.
