We thought we'd come across a new brasserie-style place but once settled-in we could see it wasn't to be. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The menu looks brasserie-ish. But then came the first disappointment. A simple ham omelette was terribly disappointing. Rather dry and with solid cubes of ham in it so that it became rather lumpen.... More

I discovered this brasserie 2 years ago whilst in London with some girlfriends after seeing Mama Mia. Our lovely French waiter was discussing the recent Charlie Ebdo tragedy which had occured earlier that week and said to us "aren't we all French now?" It seemed not just a compassionate but inclusive comment which my friends and I still remember -... More

Bubbles and 3 courses for under £25 !!!! (Bookatable Special). I thought that perhaps as we booked a special that the service or quality would be lacking. Well, I couldn't have been further from the mark. The food was fantastic, very high quality, well presented and tasted delicious. The menu for a deal such as this was excellent with 4... More

I found this on Booking.com with a glass of Kia Royale and 3 courses for £23 It was excellent value Drink was delicious We felt we had to add potatoes to make the meal complete but were delighted to find they served the best dauphinoise ever The staff were really attentive and it was great being so near Covent Garden... Cozy and welcoming! This place was really charming. The olive and garlic tempanade that came with the bread basket was savory and a perfect alternative to butter. My coq au vin was delectable. The gravy was so flavorful and rich. Mmmmm. What great French fare. The prices were really reasonable. Loved this spot!

As a lover of French cuisine and new adventures I booked a table for dinner without having any expectations. Luckily, my expectations were met - a very delish french food (try the onion soup), great service and good value for money. Good for meeting friends after work. The only downside was a next table of 10 very loud guests not... More

My boyfriend bought joint tickets to the theatre and the restaurant, making dinner about £50. We had 2 courses which were alright but not extremely special as they were from the set menu there wasn't lots of choice. The service was really nice and the waiter was lovely. It was just a bit expensive for what it was, especially considering... More

Booked for a Saturday at the beginning of February. 3 floors - we had a table in the basement. Decor Ok. Food Ok. Service charge added to the bill (12.5%) so we felt the waiter served us efficiently but wouldn't say that he was all that friendly

Just had dinner at this brassiere and whilst it indeed makes you feel as if you just stepped in a Parisian restaurant I am not convinced I will return. As starters we had French onion soup which was quite nice but it had too much bread soaked - barely felt like a soup. Would be nice to have the bread... More

Description
Boulevard Brasserie, one of Covent Garden's iconic fixtures, situated on the Opera Quarter on Wellington Street, has recently completed a refurbishment. A typical French brasserie with a menu featuring classic, uncomplicated French cuisine to include bouef bourguignon, moules mariniere, steak frites and delicious tartines. Set over two floors, it is a bustling place where you can comfortably dine on your own, with friends and family or enjoy a more convivial occasion in a larger group. Simple cooking with good ingredients in an informal atmosphere - a French brasserie at its most authentic. A new feature to Boulevard Brasserie is the Boulevard Cellars - a cosy and intimate wine bar offering a wide range of delicious regional French wines and Champagne, a good selection French cheeses and charcuterie plates to complement all tastes.
