Food arrived very quickly after ordering which would indicate it is all pe-cooked, only FOUR pieces of chicken in my main meal, naan bread was poor quality. Good service but VERY expensive for what you get. Came away hungry.

We visited Masala Zone on Friday night without booking our table. We waited by the bar until one of the tables was cleared and set for us. Meanwhile we both had chai negroni which was one of the worst cocktails I have ever tasted, the clove flavour was so strong that it overpowered everything else. To our surprise bartender admitted... We had a great late lunch here! Lovely thali lamb and thali butter chicken. Great taste and atmosphere in restaurant. Will definitely come back!

Four of us were looking forward to dinner at Masala Zone Covent Garden and had a confirmed reservation. After tubing and busing across London to get there we found the pace closed with a sign saying they were closed for renovation and would reopen in October. Our reservation was through OpenTable and I have already complained to them and Masala... More

My partner and I had some late night food here and enjoyed the flavours and ambience. Was it the best curry ever, maybe not, but it was good food and the environment had a really good vibe.

This was the perfect indian! We don't like spicy food but still both enjoyed t throughly. Glad we booked as it was very busy so I would recommend booking. They were also very good at changing our booking for us! Brilliant staff and brilliant food. Definitely visit if you're in the area! Romantic but also has a great buzz if... More

I've eaten at Masala Zone on several occasions, both at this branch and at Marshall Street. There's usually a queue to get in so be sure to get there earlier to avoid the wait. Their thalis are consistently good, with a tasty selection of veggie sides and a curry of your choice. Go for a grand thali if you are... More

I'd been here before a few years ago so when looking for a curry with my boyfriend I suggested we wandered down Upper Street. The restaurant was busy but we were served fairly quickly. The staff are friendly and obviously get a lot of repeat customers. The menu is quite limited. I think maybe 8 curries and 5 thali. I... More

Not worth all the hype. Firstly, they tried to seat us downstairs in the room next to the bathrooms. The room was depressing, isolated and only had 1 other family dining there. When we asked to be moved upstairs (you are paying for ambiance as well after all), they said it would be over an hour wait. So we said... More
